sadly, I don't remember or even know most of those who checked-out in 2009...aside from that pedophile Wacko Jacko and that NFL dude that fell out of the pick-em-up truck while trying to beat the shit out of his fiancee   as she was fleeing for her life...

yes Walter Cronkite..."and that's the way it is...GOOD NIGHT"....how many nights did I hear that sign off in my grandparents house...and no more seeing Ed McMahon on some yahoo's doorstep telling em they have won a sweepstakes....and I, like every other testosterone laden young boy growing up had a poster of Charlie's and everybody's angel, Farrah Fawcett adorned to their wall....that 6 Million Dollar Man was a lucky bastard to have married her..

Can't say I will Miss Ted "Chappaquittick" Kennedy

now I am looking at the list of those passin in 2009 and some I missed....like Captain Lou Albano from wrasslin and HOW did I not see that porn star Marilyn Chambers died??  She was in the first porno movie I ever viewed as a child....what memories of that when a buddy brings that VCR tape over

Soupy Sales, Karl Malden, one of the Manson chicks, Patrick Swayze, and CHUCK DALY??  The Good Lord needs to have some mercy on Detroit...they have the Lions and now you take the last winner away from they had...the architect of the Pistons bad boys..wow

Although I was not a Maude fan, I did love Bea in The Golden Girls..she made that show with her cracks at Betty White (Rose).  Seeing that Fantasy Island's "Boss" died, Ricardo Montalban..guess the memories of him standing there in his white suit with that midget tugging on his leg yelling "Boss da plane da plane" will have to fill me.  Paul Harvey..."it's time for neeeeeeeeeeeeewsssssssssss...and   the REST...of the story....

Even Oral Roberts couldn't save all these folks..

Sadly for me, the creator of Ronald McDonald passed (I will never see a happy meal the same now)  but I hope Grimace is still alive  or the Hamburglar

Add Erik Gates of Mythbusters to this dubious list. He was killed on December 20 in a freak accident from a skylight.

I personally will miss Ted Kennedy. He was a fighter for the people, not cooperations.

I'm gonna miss Captain Lou Albano   of wrestling fame

the old rubber band around that goatee   and being in Cyndi Lauper music videos

now he joins the Grand Wizard of Wrestling and Classie Freddie Blassie in that big squared circle in the sky

It's been reported today that Brittany Murphy's death was accidental caused by pneumonia and drug intoxication. All along her mom and husband have denied she abused drugs of any kind, yet the preliminary tests have revealed she ingested too many script meds which caused her death.

Whether or not these were her prescriptions or someone elses remains to be determined. The fact is this young woman died at the relatively young age of 32 and it could've been prevented. Had her family not been in denial about how often she used certain meds either for illness or recreation, they might've seen the warning signs she was in mortal danger of losing her life.
