Cheri - I hope that is the case, but still a little edgy since it looks like a deal exclusively with Survivor.  I'll take a Zoloft and put this on the back burner for now.

Annie – You can watch the clips here: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor/casting_call/.  As of right now, there are 68 to watch.   I watched a couple yesterday and wasn't wowed by any yet, but did take many notes on what not to do for my BB video!

LOL! Some  of the clips are just too funny for words!

** OK....What I meant to say was: most of the clips I have viewed so far, have made asses of themselves.

Here are some helpful tips from Chelsea Hart on how to get on the show.  I especially like her “have a game plan” advice because I have devised a way to play that hasn't been done before and hopefully that will be enough to convince CBS to put me on.  BTW, where the heck is Mommy???  Manifest yourself, good witch from the D!  We miss you.

Same to you Chi. I'll be doing the cattle-call as well. Seemed like last year there were a few on here who made some nice progress through the process.

If I read correctly, the deadline for tapes in a couple weeks (mid-march). I'm guessing the first casting calls will be around that time. I kind of wonder about the benefit of the tape after reading the first post of this thread by tiffany and her experience last year, but it couldnt hurt i suppose.
Also, I read that piece by chelsia, thanks for posting that. I really hate when they say "be yourself", but the more i think of it, theres definitely something to it and its probably the best advice.

Marcus, if you have something specific to say or a unique way of playing the game, I'd recommend sending a tape.  You may not get a chance of to say what you want at a casting call.  Many people I met at the casting call last year sent in a  tape and were just called to come to the casting call, so your tape really need to stand out from the rest and, of course, be yourself!

Great point. I wasn't trying to discount it, but I can see the benefit now. It is tough to get your point across at those calls when you're answering the one question you typically get.

OK, now that I've spent the last 2 hrs. taking my own advice and watching Robyn interviews, my favorite is below.  I have to say, I REALLY miss Gretchen and House Calls!  Do we think this show will resurrect this year or are we doomed to watch Ross Mathews again?

Good stuff Brad. Sounds like you and I have had some similar experiences. I've been to two casting calls myself. Both had the casting director there asking us questions. Both were groups of 5. First time we were all standing in front of a table where the director was sitting, I really blew that one. Only got one question. Second time was a group of 5 all sitting at a table, a lot easier to talk sitting with him then standing in front of him. We each got a question and then at the end we were all asked who'd we vote out. Both times I talked alot but was so nervous I didnt say what I wanted. One of those things where I want it badly so I put my all this pressure and get nervous. So I'm determined that won't happen this year.

Thanks for posting that interview. I've read a bunch of her interviews, but its more of not blowing it when I'm there for me, got to be myself. I searched robyn and her twitter came up so I'd say shes def. casting again.
