Think you’re the next Dr. Will, Evel Dick, or Teacher Dan? Here’s your chance to prove it.

Apply now for Big Brother 11 to enter the BB11 house when its doors open again in July 2009.

Full application instructions for Big Brother 11 below the break:

Applications MUST be written clearly or typed and MUST be accompanied by a videotape. The videotape must meet the following restrictions:
1) Length: Maximum length is two (2) minutes. Anything over two minutes will not be considered.
2) Format: VHS only (no mini-DV, Hi-8, 8mm or VHS-C). To transfer the other formats to VHS, simply connect your camera to your VCR and record.
3) Content: Tell us who you are and why you would make the ultimate housemate on Big Brother. Be creative!
4) Deadline: Rolling deadline for now, subject to change without notice.

All materials you send us (including videotape and photos) will be retained by Producers and become the property of the Producers and will not be returned to you whether or not you are selected as a participant. Any expenses you incur during the application process including postage, shipping and materials preparation (videotape, photos, etc.) are your sole responsibility. Producers will not reimburse you for these expenses. Only one entry per person is allowed. All decisions of the Producers are final and absolute and not subject to inquiry.

Applications will only be considered if they are complete. Complete applications consist of the following:
1) Completed Application Form
2) Two-minute videotape labeled clearly with your name and city/region number.
3) Two color photographs of yourself, each clearly labeled on the back with your name and city/region number. One must be a close-up of your face, the other must be a full-length photo of your entire (clothed) body. Polaroids are acceptable as long as we can clearly see you.
4) Identification - Attach a copy of your driver’s license, in addition to a social security card, passport or birth certificate.

If you are selected for an interview, you will be advised so by the Producers shortly before the interview is scheduled. If you are selected to participate in the final selection process, you will be so advised by the Producers shortly before the final selection process is scheduled.

Producers reserve the right to change the terms of the application and the production schedule at anytime. Producers reserve the right to change the eligibility requirements and any other application rules in its sole discretion at any time with or without notice on a specific, case-by-case basis or across the entire applicant pool. Producers also reserve the right to not hold any participant applicant interviews, or to modify the manner in which it conducts participant applicant interviews, or to not produce the program Big Brother at all.

Call off your plans for Big Brother 11 and cocoa. CBS has just announced that BB11 is a go, but the bad news is that our favorite reality show won’t return until the snow has melted and pools are full again:

Well nuts. TV Guide had me pretty excited over the possibility of another winter installment of Big Brother. Alas, it wasn’t meant to be. I’ll still be ready for Big Brother 11 when it does arrive. What about you?

Big Brother 11: Will There Be A Winter Season Again? TV Guide Thinks So

When Big Brother showed up last winter I was ecstatic. The WGA Strike was causing a heavy TV slump and the idea of my favorite summer show turning up during the coldest season was welcome news. Now with the conclusion of the tenth season, back to its summer appearance, the question is raised: will there be another winter BB event with Big Brother 11?

My first guess: no, there won’t be. I love Big Brother as much as the next loyal viewer, but even with all my biased optimism I have to admit that I just don’t see it happening. Stars aligned last winter to bring BB9 to the table and I don’t see it happening again. With television back in full swing there won’t be the gap of new programming to fill anymore. No vacancies means no winter Big Brother 11.

Even back before BB10 got started Allison Grodner, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, said that Big Brother was a summer event and we should not expect the chance to make snow angels as we await PoV news. Nuts. But wait! (Or is that, “but first” ?)

TV Guide is already listing Big Brother 11 as part of its “Fall Preview”. Oh yes, my friends, it’s there with Julie Chen’s smiling mugshot and all (see above). So what does that really mean? Nothing. It could be that TV Guide is simply being ready for anything and so likewise, all of us here at Big Brother Network (me), will be doing the same.

I’ll be keeping an eye out and my thumb on the Big Brother 11 pulse, listening for any news. Stay tuned to the site and I’ll keep you posted. Here’s to hoping for more BB sooner than later!

Memphis Wants His Camaro, Big Brother Doesn’t Have It… Oops!

Well this is unfortunate. Remember the very first week in BB10 when Memphis was the last man standing and won that 1969 Camaro? Big Brother was kinda hoping everyone had just forgotten about that whole ordeal.

Turns out, that Camaro wasn’t BB’s to giveaway and when it came time for Memphis to collect on his win the garage was empty. Apparently the car was never actually purchased but seems to have just been a prop that Grodner and crew decided to giveaway on a whim.

The owner is still willing to part with the car, but now he wants $24,000 for it! If BB ponies up the cash he’ll trade them the car. Hmm, maybe they could just give Memphis the $24K and let him do as he pleases. From what Brian and Steven said on the live feeds interview, Memphis would be better off with something else.

Update: TMZ now says everything has been worked out. Memphis had a chance to test drive the ‘69 Camaro and decided he’d rather take the cash. Nice one, Renegade!

Big Brother 10 Finale - Winner Results

Tonight we learn who walks away with the half million dollar prize and who is Memphis! Just kidding, but I hope not. Either way I’ll be satisfied and am excited to see who the jury crowns as the winner of Big Brother 10. I’ll be recapping it all live right here. Let’s go!

The jury round table is interesting but not the least surprising. Renny, Keesha, and Libra are squarely in the Dan camp while Jerry, April, and Ollie are pro-Memphis. Michelle still seems to be the swing vote.

Big Brother 10: Finale Tonight At 9PM

Today is the day. We’ve finally arrived at the end of Big Brother 10 and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s been many seasons since I’ve really liked both players that made it to the end (BB9’s Ryan, you were cool, but Adam not so much). Big relief!

Dan and Memphis will face off in front of an angry jury as we’ll watch them get punched with tough questions in their pursuit for four votes. Once they get past the questions we’ll get to see the former HGs gather on stage to present their decision. I’m expecting this to be a very close vote but am really hoping things lean towards Dan as I predicted a 4-3 win over Memphis.

Who do you think should win and why? Check back tonight during the East coast broadcast when I’ll be recapping the results live, here on Big Brother Network!

Big Brother 10 Winner: The Lesser Of Two Renegades

After two months of alliances, lying, scheming, and backstabbing we have finally reached the end of Big Brother 10. After evicting 11 of their fellow houseguests only Dan, the school teacher, and Memphis, the mixologist, remain to face off for the half million dollar prize. These Renegades began their alliance in week 4 and, despite their ups and downs, have remained faithful to their promise to reach the end together. Now it’s time for the BB10 Jury to decide which one has played the better game and deserves to be crowned the winner.

It’s no secret that Dan has made a lot of enemies in this game. His methods and motives may have been effective, but they weren’t always clean and it could end up costing him. Did he send more than 3 angry HGs to sequester?

Memphis’ game has been quieter and kinder, but was his passive approach sometimes too passive for the jury to consider him worthy of 4 votes?

All it will take for either HG to win is a mere four of the seven available votes. While past seasons have presented an option of selecting the lesser of two evils, this time around they’ll have to select from one of two renegades whether they like it or not. Before I break down my vote predictions let me note that I’m a Dan fan, so perhaps my own hopes have biased my perceptions.

Libra: Ostracized from her original alliance she has no loyalty to either remaining HG. I think she’ll be more impressed by Dan’s gameplay and will vote accordingly. She’ll vote for Dan.
April: She’ll be voting in-line with Ollie and considering Dan’s betrayal of Ollie I don’t think there’s any way that April won’t vote for Memphis.
Michelle: Evicted after Dan went back on his word with Ollie, Michelle was quite vocal over her exit. Was Dan’s wise choice to take her to the beach enough to buy back her vote? I think it was and am expecting Michelle to vote for Dan.
Ollie: Any discussion here? Dan betrayed Ollie. He’ll vote for Memphis.
Renny: Renny never liked Memphis much and voiced her desire to see him gone throughout the game. Combined with her motherly relationship with Dan I only see her voting in favor of Dan.
Keesha: Evicted by Memphis she left with harsh words for her executor. Will the realization that Dan manipulated her situation change her vote? I doubt it. Keesha will vote for Dan.
Jerry: Judas, anyone? Jerry thinks Memphis was really trying for him and he’ll vote in his defense.

My prediction for Big Brother 10: Dan wins by 4-3 over Memphis. You?
