(Sigh….) And the Let Down Sets In
It’s about 2:30AM EST …and I have a horrible toothache. Ouch! I just finished suffering through Evel Dick’s live backyard interviews of the Big Brother 11 cast…he was a little obnoxious but cool, of course. He sported the typical Evel Dick potty mouth and mostly talked about himself. The sound quality was poor and the jumpy video was definitely amateur…but for some reason…I just couldn’t stop watching. I needed one final look at the houseguests. I wished I was partying with them tonight and something is making me feel like we should all be leaving for Vegas together in the morning… I just couldn’t let go.
I feel somewhere between “I just lost my best friend”…and….”Someone died”. How silly am I? I mean, for me, the end of this season was SPECTACULAR! I have made no secret about the fact that I am a die hard Jeff and Jordan fan…so the ultimate pay off happened for me at the finale. Both of my favorites won something…and best of all….Natalie lost to Jordan. Sweet! In-Your-Face Natalie! So I should be able to sleep like a baby right?? Well, considering the hour…and the fact that I’m not even remotely sleepy yet…clearly that isn’t the case.
This feeling I have is quite similar to the way I feel every December 26th. Christmas has always been huge in my family, and the preparations begin sometime in early October. I love every second of it even though there are some ups and downs along the way…the climax of Christmas morning has always been the payoff…the SPECTACULAR payoff…and then December 26th…the let down sets in. I’m always sad because I get so involved emotionally and financially…and then it’s over so quickly… and I know I’m gonna miss my family members, especially the ones I only get to see around that time of year….hmmm….sounds familiar doesn’t it?
Well, I just want to say to all of you, my Big Brother family members, who have read and commented about my blogs this season and to all of my outstanding fellow bloggers…Thank You! You have truly made this season of Big Brother a memorable one for me. I admire all of your respectfulness, your passion and your humor. Big Brother fans are often misunderstood… but WE know that we are just passionate, edgy people with good hearts…and I am proud to be included in that group with all of you. It was my pleasure to have sat around this “holiday table” with you and though the discussions were sometimes heated…they were invaluable, valid, relevant, fun and funny…and I am honored to have shared them with you.
So I will look forward to seeing all of you again next year. Same time…same place. We can meet here and ride this rollercoaster together again…and next time everyone has to put their hands up and enjoy the ride!
Hugs and Kisses!!!
P.S. A special thanks to Matt – thanks for inviting me this season – you are truly a classy guy!

I too sat through that awful jumpy ED live stream as well and I have no idea why as I’m just gonna have to go back and rewatch the vids of it anyway.
As a fellow huge Jeff and Jordan fan it’s hard to ask for a better ending than the one we got last night. I was a big fan of the Renegades Dan and Memphis (mostly Dan) last season so it’s a little greedy to expect my favs to make the final 2 together back to back. Had they did though it still might not have been as good a result since Jeff definately would’ve won and while he definately would’ve deserved it more it’s no question Jordan could use it more. So this way Jordan got the big money and Jeff got 25K, a trip to Hawaii, and is the most popular player in the history of BB with I would imagine a bunch of potential opportunities coming his way.
It made me think of a convo between the 2 I clearly remember in the GR after Mich won POV and Jeff was coming to the realization he was done. Jeff was talking to Jordan about fate and how maybe he just wasn’t meant to win this game and that maybe the reason he was put in that house was to help Jordan get to the end and that maybe there was something else meant for him later on. Looking back I don’t know if truer words were ever spoken in that house.

For the first time in BB history the good guys won! A sweet person with really nothing bad to say about anything and innocent as can be and a very sweet good hearted guy that was always making me laugh…especially asking her what kind of animal she would want to be and questioning her about the fish and squirrel answer and her aspirations. The were kind to everyone and Jeff wanted everyone to have a good time and get along, he took a lot of grief and bit his tongue, he was a good man. Jordon, same goes for her. It was so great to see that the little king of the roost did not get :her money” as she so eloquently put it. Who did she think she was? She was very fortunate that she made it as far as she did doing nothing and Jordon should be thanked by her for the 50 grand, Jordon would have won taking Kevin I believe. I hated and probably all of America was disgusted seeing Natalie win a penny. She has a lot of growing up to do. She acts as if she is ten years old. Hooray for Jordon, good luck! And Bless you!!! BTW, Long distance relationships do work out! Married 28 years after one!:)

Hi.. I didnt know where to post this question so I figured I’d do it here and hope you all dont hate me for it…
I was doing some “background” reading and ran across this interview from Chima about her “expulsion”
http://realitytvmagazine.sheknows.com/blog/2009/08/16/big-brother-11-chima-says-she-left-the-house-voluntarily/
Has anyone else seen it? and how true do you think it is? Is she telling the truth about the part where she is the only HG to be booted for throwing the mic? And if so is it possible that she WAS booted b/c it was thrown into the hottub? I mean tossing a mic on the lawn and tossing it in the water are two totally different offenses I would think right? Or do you think she actually asked (politely) to leave and they edited it as a big fat kick to the rear?
thanks for your time…
