The Brigade is finally starting to win some competitions! The reason is there is not much competition left at all. Ragan woke up from his eight weeks of hibernation, but it is too little, too late for him to start playing this game. He should have figured out the Brigade alliance and wised up from the beginning. Major floaters go home in this game! So who is winning this game?

It seems like Enzo would be the ideal player to take to Final 2. Since he hasn’t done much game-playing, he would be an easy player to beat. But is there anyone who is willing to take him? Maybe Hayden!

Hayden has been playing a great social game and winning competitions when he really needs it. He is very sneaky and the kind of player that gets what he wants in this game, most of the time. He can definitely beat Lane in the Final 2. But will Britney be evicted in order for that scenario to happen?

Britney has to be the best player in this Big Brother 12 season. She has proved that status by winning many competitions, and always positioning herself perfectly in the group dynamic every week. I don’t think anyone will beat her in the Final 2. So will everyone realize this and try to evict her? Probably!

The conclusion of Big Brother 12? Does anyone care?

As a diehard Big Brother fan since Season 2, I am committed to finish watching this season, but honestly, I don’t care who wins.
Truthfully I don’t think anyone left in the house deserves to win. Without a doubt this has been the worst season of Big Brother in history! Why is that? I have a few observations.

Let’s start with the cast. This season was cast with a bunch of nice, but boring players. First, this cast, for the most part, seemed to be afraid of getting down and dirty and into the spirit of lying, fighting, backstabbing and back-dooring houseguests. When they did fight and lie; they apologized! Why? that doesn’t make sense. They are not on Big Brother to make friends, they are there to win $500,000.00 dollars. Secondly, I will never understand how Kathy, Monet, Lane and Ragan were cast. Again, nice but boring, and afraid to take a chance.

The production staff seems to be an issue this year also. Multiple house guests broke rules, but there did not seem to be any enforced penalties. Why? We as viewers observed the violations, why didn’t production. Also, dispite multiple warnings, the house guests talked about diary room sessions and production. Again, we as fans caught that, but no enforced penalties. Is production asleep or just oblivious to the violations? Or, is production trying to influence the outcome of the game by ignoring the rules?

It has also been rumored that Endemol is suffering financially. From my perspecitve, there seems to be some truth to the rumor as evidenced by the complexity of the games and challenges. The games just seemed to easy. I might also add that many of the players were throwing the competition as well. Which leads back to the casting question, as to why the players aren’t playing to win? That is agravating to me, because I would love to play the game.

And then there is the Saboteur parts one and two followed ad nauseum by Pandora’s Box. Why so many repitions? The Saboteur didn’t work the first time and got worse the second. One Pandora’s box is ok, but stop when you are a head. Can’t production think of other surprises instead of just repeating the ones you used?

Once this season concludes, I hope that CBS and Endemol take a good hard look at Big Brother as a whole and strive to make improvements for the next season. The contestants should not be able to predict the compeitions when the shows motto is “expect the unexpected”. I would hate to see a good show and concept die this type of death. CBS – Save Big Brother!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!

Alright, enough is enough. This is by far the worst season of complainers in BB history…and THAT is what you will be remembered for.

I have already cancelled my live feed and frequently just delete the BBAD because I don’t even want to deal with it. I can pretty much skip 4 days and pick up exactly where I left off. Complaining, complaining, complaining. Talks of fame, youTube vids, past HGs, past seasons, this sucks, that sucks, how epic your DR sessions are, how many fans you have, etc.

For a group of people who are supposed to be grateful…I just don’t see it. The term “make the best out of a bad situation” doesn’t cross anyone’s mind in there. I usually don’t mind HG bashing but ALL of them take it to a new level. They are GONE…do you really need to go on and on? I mean, you’re talking about Annie, even. That was week one!!

This is my last post. I don’t have anything left in the gas tank. I can’t believe production hasn’t stepped in and calmed these people down. For the first time in 12 seasons of BB, I really don’t care who wins and have zero interest in following the show. In my opinion, none of these people deserve to be there anymore. What was once funny or entertaining…is just plain ugly.

With the company behind BB (Endemol) in financial trouble, I would hate to think that this is the season that ended Big Brother but it very well could. Based on BB internet activity, it seems most have vanished. I don’t know the exact numbers but it’s pretty quiet out there.

Anyway, thanks to all for your contributions and insights. Fingers crossed, we have a breath of fresh air for at least one more season. I wish I could say it’s been another great BB adventure but…ya know.

Matt…I don’t know how you’re stilling doing your thing. My hat goes off to you.

Let’s just dive in here.

Hayden – Seems like a truly nice enough guy, but the hair (wayyy past his age) and proclamations of baseball superstardom may leave some saying…typical college kid.

Lane – Big, dumb country by design. He knows what he is. Anything outside of his own expectations is gravy. Seems he has his small town outs to still live a happy small town life after BB but is still fascinated by the television. I’ll call him an enlarged Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynomite with delusions of grandeur.

Enzo – Grow up, yo. 32 years, don’t know when to shave a balding head, rapper? To those not exposed to guys like him…it’s funny. Problem is…Jersey and NY is filled with dudes like ‘em. “East Coast, Represent, yo.” …blah…diddy…blah…blah. It happens here first, yo. We know it all…and see it all. Not really. Stick to the one block you know. If you lived in Jersey your whole life and have NEVER went to the city…that one’s for you.

Britt – Pretty…smart…articulate….full of yourself…young. I think she’ll gain a lot from her experience but probably won’t change much until she lives a little longer. The wake up call could hit her the hardest. Depends how far outside of her home base she goes. STOP PLAYING WITH YOUR HAIR AND LIPS!!

Brenden – He’ll have his share of fans, obviously. Socially awkward?…to me, yes, but he has an endearing BB quality about him that has been growing the longer he wins. He’s not nearly half as annoying as he was. He keeps winning and has definitely improved his game play since the departure of his…whatever. Time will tell.

Ragen – Dial me a BB know-it-all crybaby. I’m not anti-gay in any way but you might just be setting the movement back. Can you speak intelligently?…yes. Can you over-dramatize things with the best of them?…yes. Can you stop talking about past seasons (and everyone else) and what you KNOW your season will be like?…N-O!! P.S.- not to be catty but the dude’s head looks like a potato on a toothpick. It’s psychically jarring.

Matt – here today…gone tomorrow. The classic cocky, overplayed BB hand. Can he win comps?…yes. Does he think he’s a little (or a lot) too cool?…more for the DR…but yes. I would have left out, “Diabolical, Super-Genius” and maybe people would have responded to you better. The wife lie didn’t help much either. I see him fancying a Dr. Will but I doubt Dr. Will, WILL come calling. Your over-cockiness…or should I say…trust in your own alliance…is what will put you out the door. “A” for effort but there’s at least one of you in every season. Julie Chen, “Matt, would you say you trusted your alliance a little too much?” Matt, “You know, I came into this house with a…” You did what you could. Peace…see you at the next “Mensa” meeting.

So after all that…who do I have to root for?…you tell me. It’s been a challenging season. Someone call CBS and get better wannbe actors, wannabe models, ex-athletes, wannabe musicians, wannabe Nobel Peace Prize winners, etc.

$500,000 Mistake?

Did Britney make a $500,000 mistake? There are two sides to this coin. One side tells me Britney has indeed messed her game up by putting Matt on the block. The fact that many of those who participated in the P.O.V. competition went for prizes instead of the Veto should reveal to Britney that maybe other guys in the house don’t mind Brendon staying for a while longer. Britney simply did the dirty work for the Bre-gade this week. Bre-gade is the Brigade and Brendon excluding Matt. I cannot believe that Britney would not think for herself, especially in such a crucial point in the game. She needs to get off Lane’s d*%k.

On the other hand, Britney won Rachel’s and Kathy’s vote in the Jury House with getting Matt evicted. Now she just needs to make sure to get to the Final 2, but did she seal her own fate by trusting the other guys?

Now that Matt’s eviction is inevitable I hope he will go out with the biggest bang in Big Brother history by exposing the Bre-gade to the whole house, and tell Britney how she have been used for their dirty work. Wouldn’t that make her feel like the biggest fool?

BRENDON WINS POV…WHO’S GONNA WIN BB?

I guess it’s a matter of what you define as game play. Do the competition winners deserve the rights to the top prize? Do the people that throw comps and use others to take out strong threats prevail? Do you award the people that you personally liked best?

The funny thing about these questions…that’s what the jury is going to have to decide.

Every season a mixed bag of game players walk in to the BB house. We love…we hate…we judge…and round and round we go.

The fact is, no one, on this show or otherwise, says or does the “right” thing, (whatever that is) all the time. You, as a viewer, if you so decide, have the ability to watch a group of people shoved in a house 24 hours a day, unedited (sort of).

Now, as much as I would love to say that BB game play goes on that whole time…it really doesn’t. Sometimes and a lot of times…people are just being who they are. It’s what makes the 24/7 ability such a rare find because you DO get to know these people, and in some instances, better than their own friends and family. When is the last time you were viewed 24 hours a day, every day, for people to critique your “isms”, personal habits or general demeanor?…never?…me too. You may not fare so well. In saying all that, it’s time to hit you with some hard truth.

As another POV competition passes, little changes for the typical winners of such events. Here is your list of HOH/POV victors. Would it surprise you to know that only 6 (really 5 if you take out Hayden’s default HOH) out of 13 people have won all HOH/POV comps? These are what winners of comps look like:

• Matt
• Rachel (evicted)
• Ragen
• Britt
• Brendon
• Hayden

These are what losers of comps look like:

• Lane
• Enzo
• Monet (evicted)
• Annie (evicted)
• Kathy (evicted)
• Andrew (evicted)
• Kristen (evicted)

I’ve said this a million times before…you wanna stay?…win the comps. Look above…numbers don’t lie.

Now, we move steadily into the “who can I beat in the end” phase…and that’s when I really start to get bothered by the “let’s play the jury vote”. Let’s be honest…you know who likes you and who doesn’t no matter what they say to your face or what you try to say to swing a vote. A convincing, critical competition win is your best form of jury flattery. The Dr. Will clones are a thing of the past (there was only one true success to begin with).

As mentioned above, other than one HG, the losers get sent packing. It’s really sad to think there is only a month or so left and not even half of the house is responsible for ALL combined HOH/POV wins. I include Hayden’s HOH but I really shouldn’t. So you can say five people if you would like.

The Brigade is pointless…a bunch of complaining non-winners talking about making big, bold moves. I’m over it. Insert rotating winning HG as the new revolving Brigade member…now it’s Brenden. They can’t win if they were the only ones playing.

It’s a shame Brenden is playing so personal because if he teamed up with the people he personally dislikes…they could dismantle the three most worthless HGs in the game’s history…how ‘bout that for your 15 minutes? “Biggest group of non-doing floaters in BB history”…sounds about right to me.

The big question is…complaining, hair picking, and lies aside…who is best poised to win?

And The “Head-Games” Begin, Again..

Well, as expected, Matt used the Diamond POV. As exciting as it was to see Brendon’s face, as well as the rest, was evicting Kathy really the smartest move?

Matt had the opportunity to have almost anyone evicted, without any “real” backlash.

What really confuses ME is; what do these guys plan to do if they, The Bro-Gade, actually make it to the final four? Only TWO people get to “Win” Big Brother. I’ve been watching the feeds, just waiting to hear any of these guys to come up with some sort of “plan” .

Matt has a very close friendship with Ragan; Lane has the same with Britney. Yet for some reason, one I cannot even make ANY sense of, IF they CAN, the “Bro-Gade”, expect to be the “final four”!

Last night, in MY mind, was the ONE chance Matt had, especially after knowing he’d be thrown under the bus, to make a move to eliminate one of the “Brigade”, and finally begin to pave the way for HIS own “path” to advance himself!

With Britney as the new HoH, we should finally see the second half of the “gruesome twosome” head to the Jury House to reunite with his beloved (choke) Rachel.

Thursday IS also going to be the beginning of the big Double Eviction. By the end of the episode on Thursday, we’ll not only see the eviction of Britney’s nominees, but also the eviction of a second house-guest via the “fast forward” HoH.

I have yet to hear any “real plan” of any of the remaining house-guests as to getting any further.

This is definitely a season unlike ANY other that I can recall. Will the “winner” be the person that has thrown the most competitions?

IF anyone knows something I’m missing, please let me know.

Will Lane pair up with Britney? Will Matt pair up with Ragan?

Are things as mixed up as I think; and NO ONE has a clue inside that house?

Britney is the ONLY person that’s safe, at least, until Thursday’s episode begins.. Then What?

Kathy Evicted: Win-Win Situation!?

I cannot believe I’m about to say this, but Matt using the Diamond Power of Veto and evicting Kathy was a smart, strategic move. If he would have put Hayden or Enzo up on the block, then Brendon would be a tie-breaker vote. Due to Brendon’s deciding vote, Lane would have gone to the Jury House. In those circumstances, Matt would be in a lose-lose situation since he would bluntly attack the Brigade while putting a huge target on his back. Using the Diamond Power of Veto on Kathy puts Matt in a win-win situation since he gains the trust of the Brigade, and gaining the alliance of Ragan, Brittney, and Lane. As a result, Matt should continue to align himself with Ragan and Brittney and the Brigade, to a certain degree,while working together to take out the common enemy in Brendon. Once Brendon is out of the house, it is time for Matt to take out the Brigade members starting with Hayden or Enzo. Double Eviction Week makes this even more exciting. I cannot wait to see Rachel’s face when Kathy and Brendon walk through that door before Matt does.

On another note, would it be better for Brittney to backdoor Brendon, or to put him up on the block right away?

The Best Move in the Game So Far?

Big Brother game is all about perfect timing. Every move needs to be calculated and beneficial to own individual game. As of now, Matt is the only smartest and strongest player left in the Big Brother 12 house. Love him or hate him, he is willing to make bold moves in the game and win the competitions. This is a perfect time in the game to make one of the few bold moves that anybody is willing to make for Matt.

Obviously, the Brigade is crumbling and turning against their best player on the team. It would be a wise move if Hayden and Enzo could win a competition or two. Hopefully, Matt will see that Enzo and Hayden turned on him and nominate Enzo or Hayden for eviction. At this point, America is desperate for any bold moves in the game to really turn the house upside down.

All his anticipation for Matt to use the Diamond Power of Veto only to get Kathy out would be such a waste. By nominating Enzo or Hayden, Matt will decrease the power of the Bro-gade, and will gain two strong allies in this game in Brittney and Ragan.

Will Matt realize the perfect timing for a bold move or make a foolish decision by nominating Kathy or Brittney?

YOU’RE GONNA BE A STAR, KID

I had to give myself a while to calm down before posting again. After I saw the back to back Pandora Adventure (you know, the one CBS decided to throw in there to save a dying season) and when I saw “that thing” back in the house (even for a minute) after not even 24 hours had passed since her eviction…I gave up.

Does anyone else feel BB has nothing original left in its gas tank? The idea of what the show is…is amazing!! Never mind the picked on, bullying, backstabbing, sneaks, rats, liars, power trippers, and showmances….they have been in every season since the beginning and made the show what it is. The moment loyalty was broken, the huge lie told, the face to face screaming matches, the crucial HOH/POV competitions…and so on.

There is a huge difference between the earlier seasons and what has sprung up, really, in my opinion, since the couples BB. The people cast for this show have been over-conditioned by the past seasons. Stories of success, stardom and what else may come from being on t.v. Talks of selling personal memorabilia, just trying to make it to the jury house…COME ON!!…where are all the people there to win the game? Throwing comps, not throwing comps, blood on your hands, no blood on your hands…this is just dumb. I will give Rachel (there, I said her name) credit for one thing…she was there to win the whole thing. How many of you out there would die to be in their position? Has BB really turned into the breeding ground where you go to take your small town achievements and perpetuate them into working with Jay-Z or DeNiro? I don’t think so.

Is there such a thing as over-strategizing? YES. Knowing a show too well to a fault? YES. The result…a house of boring, scared individuals. Yes, some of the antics (usually at the expense of another HG) like the “Just the Tip” thing, can be entertaining and funny. Whinning about slop, “can’t wait to get the F out of here” talk…not cool. Say it once…o.k. Say it every damn day…pound sand.

The game is hard. It looks hard. Even harder to win but THAT is why you signed up, right? RIGHT?

Over halfway through…there are only three people playing this game right now…something is wrong with this picture.

I still constantly watch, though 
