A Farewell To Kings And Queens…
This feels a lot like a high school graduation in a sense. Kinda ironic with the way the season started out. The close of one chapter and a beginning to another. A little time for self reflection and what these last 70+ days have meant to me. From the moment I took a proactive stance to let my voice be alphanumerically heard, to when I gained a new respect to the anonymity and the conduct of true humans. There have been very few achievements in my life that I am truly proud of, but I gotta say one thing about this correspondence over these last few months.
I have never engaged in such an event. I have never felt the need to stand up and let my opinion be heard. Self conscience or misunderstood through my words and not truly perceived to be caring and genuine. I was nervous. I take things people say to me to heart. As trivial as a reality show may be…it speaks volumes. A band of brothers and sisters in a sense. It’s a rare bond that is formed with the faceless and nameless. It is magical…and beautiful. You have all contributed to my overall well being and my faith in the class act conversationalists. I walk away from this experience a better man. Humbled. A tad bit bewildered, that there are still people out there that can reason and articulate opinion in an environment with the best of intentions.
As melodramatic as it sounds, it is true. The best part about a forum such as this, is that you can connect with people you may not ordinarily see or hear from. It is also affirmation that the world we live in, still moves on and there are many things to be thankful for.
I have never blogged before nor thought my opinion was any more founded or enlightening than the rest of the garbage (and there is quite a bit on the internet) that is out there. You have ALL made me feel a part of something special. Big Brother or no Big Brother, I’m glad I had the privilege to interact with you. Eye opening or troublemaking…this has been a great ride.
Please know that it is with ALL the components and additions from the bloggers and commenter’s, that kept me writing and kept me on my toes. I hope you have enjoyed my foray into the Big Brother madness as much as I have enjoyed hearing all your thoughts and views.
I’m not gonna name any names because it has been a collective effort. It’s bigger than BB to me. Knowingly or not, I have benefited from ALL of your insight. I am TRULY moved by some of the blogs and comments I have read closing out another GREAT season of BB. All I can say is… thanks for allowing me to hang with you.
As I told one fellow blogger in a candid e-mail exchange (that I will keep nameless)…my friends call me “Mac”. I consider you ALL my friends and I’ll hold your hair back while you puke into a toilet anytime!!
I’ll see you season 12 (hopefully) right back here (or maybe you’ll see me on the tube). Stay Classy San Deigo!!!
WAIT!!! One more thing!!! Matt (the proprietor of this endeavor) told me when I first signed up, to keep the blogs PG-13. I have obeyed all rules set forth. I’m HOPING he doesn’t ban me next year for what I’m about to post (Truly Grateful, Matt).
JORDAN FUCKING WON!!!! WAHOOO…AWESOME!!! NAT….SNUBBED!!! It all worked out in the end….once again. See ya next year!!!
P.S.- I’d like to give a shout out to BBC in the D and B T McD!!! Love ta love ta love ya!!!

JORDAN WON!!……..The nice (girl) won! I’m so happy for her and Jeff for getting the America’s Favorite player.
I was surprised by Jesse’s mature vote and once we seen his vote we knew Lydia’s. I really thought Russel would vote for Jordan to win but i guess not.
Can’t believe it’s all over again. Hopefully Santa will bring us a winter BB.
Any..who.. can’t wait to be updated ,see pics and the party!
Congrat’s Jeff And Jordan!!

This was my first year watching it & won’t be my last. I hope u all will allow me to join you in future seasons & with other shows. I promise not all my posts will be annoyingly long esp if I am using my cell to post like now

Without getting sappy (and i LOVE to get sappy), let me say it has been my privilege to be a part of your blog. You are an intelligent, insightful and always thought provoking person. You have led us through not just a “reality show” but an event. Something special to us die hard Big Brother fans. It was with extraordinary finese that you handled all our madness…and there was madness! This experience would not have been complete without you. This has been an unusual experience for me too….names with no faces but voices with plenty of heart. At times you’ve kept those voices calm and our hearts overflowing. I wish you the best that life has to offer. Until we meet again, my friend, just know this…..”You had me at hello”.

Hallelujah!! The gods are with us, the good girl won this time, and the nasty one got the shaft that she deserved!! Surprised that Jessie and Russell’s votes weren’t flipped, but it came out right in the end. America’s Favorite money going to Jeff was just icing on the cake. Hopefully future houseguests will learn that it pays to be nice. A little common courtesy goes a long way . . . just ask Jeff and Jordan.

I didn’t know there was an aftershow. Bbad wasn’t on & the news was after the finale here. Is there a link to see it online?

@lostuni
The aftershow wasn’t on TV it was online. Evel Dick the winner from Season 8 individually interviewed each of the HGs live from the backyard of the BB House. They currently have 5 of the videos up on the site already and I assume will add the rest soon. You probably didn’t miss much watching it live as the stream was coming through terrible for me and I have had to go back and watch the vids anyway. The videos are towards the bottom on the left side of the screen. Here’s the site:

#3.LOSTUNI and #4 CAT. said, the people on this blog are GREAT. this 2 is my 1st yr.i cant believe kevin voted for nasty. i knew jeff would get ‘americas vote’ but had hoped michelle won it. no surprise, no expect the unexpected and no jury house ‘punch’ i dont have live feeds but didnt nasty NOT be friendly to the man she LOVES?heck NO bb should pay for her wedding..with all the rules being broken and things going unpunished, next yr is gonna be a mess. cause bb12 can always use the ANTICS of season 11.i bet if nasty had won,we might have seen some’emotion’ i live for ’survivor’ but not to the extent of bb11. cbs get your rules fixed and enforce them!!!Thanks to our ‘GREAT’ moderatos[and those who put up with my dumb questions]MATT, BBMOTHER,JOEY LEE, DIANA,CAT,LEO AND TO ALL THOSE I MISSED[sorry] i ve watche survivior since day 1,so i hope im not too dumb. thanks again to all!!!!!

I am on my cell again so I hate to ask this,
but I can’t see for myself are all the blogs, posts & vids still avail for us to see & will they be for awhile? I really feel like I want to see all the great (& not so great) stuff I missed from u all. I am curious bout things that I noticed thru the season & stuff ppl commented on the past few days.
Like I said b4 I had no one to discuss the show with till it was over so I have many unanswered ?s I hope past posts will answer. The funny thing is this was my first year watching & I had ?s bout the basics & couldn’t find answers using my cell to look online.
until hubby fixes my laptop or replaces it I have to use my cell or his laptop.
If its ok for me to ask ?s on old posts let me know if not let me know that as well.
I understand its over &

Personally I am happy the show is over. I am happy that Natalie or Kevin did not win. I think the both of them portray poor images of people. I would rooted for Kevin, but after he told such a stupid lie to Jeff about Russell, that’s childish. I felt bad for Jeff to be so used by Jordan and Kevin. Someone like Jeff who was so smart and mature to be taken in by Kevin, didn’t show much. I still like Jeff, but Russell is also a close second. He showed much more in the end than the others. he was a better sportsman than Lydia or Jesse. I hope the producers next year start having normal people, not body builders or liers about their age; people like Ronnie also don’tneed to be on there. I hope they learned their lesson with China or Chena, she should have been booted along time ago. I think the producers need to have viewers pick the contestants or be part of the panel. People respond to everyday men and women not those stuck on themselves. I host a show on a public access network in my city and I can tell you if one of my guests ever acted like that the show would have been stopped and told them to leave. Good luck Jeff and Russell

Quick question… In various interviews/posts etc all over ppl seem to be griping about some of the things Jordan said to the jury and in interviews.. complaining about taking credit for getting rid of people, he plans etc. Does anyone remember right before Jeff went home and Jordan tried to get him to campaign for votes? is it possible (remember I didn’t have live feeds) that Jeff told her that if SHE was the one who stayed to take credit for some of the things that they did as an alliance in order to help sway the jury? after all they were an alliance and he did some things she wanted and vise versa and all told everything they did worked to get one of them to the final 2.
ALSO is it possible that some of the things she said such as “flying under the radar” was a plan etc.. is it possible that it just might be true? After all she DID make it to final 2 (and won!) so she had to have done something right.
ALSO (Remember this is the first time I ever saw the show) why is it a bad thing to align with a strong person anyway? I notice that Russel aligned with Jessie first, Ronnie aligned with Jessie first (and contrary to what Ronnie tried to convince the world of, he is NOT a strong player, he just knew more about the game itself.. were he a strong player he would have lasted at least a little while longer) I always thought in REALITY as well as REALITY TV that you should align yourself with people that can help you make it through to the next day, whether that person was a strong person (such as Jeff) or a “weak” person (such as what ppl assume Jordan to be)everyone has a purpose in life, so why cant they have a purpose in TV? Jeff told Julie right after being evicted that Jordan was strong in the fact that she gave him the much needed MORAL support that if he DIDN’T have he might not have been able to get as far as HE did. but that’s just me.. am I wrong?
Its not like they can journal in the house to work things out (Can they?) or keep a written calendar or list of the things that happened in the house so by having Jordan around he had someone with whom he could work things out, or quiz which in turn helped him to remember the important facts in a game. to me its like a marriage.. (or any relationship) everyone brings something different to the table which is what makes each “whole” where if everyone was a carbon copy of each other with the same strengths and weaknesses they might as well be alone.
BTW the age difference between them worked for them in the house.. he had more wisdom where she was younger and provided insight into the younger peoples thought processes.
AND I truly don’t believe she is as dumb as portrayed on the show.. what person over 10 doesn’t know how to tell time? (quarter to/ quarter after thing) I think she might have been playing “dumb blonde” a bit..I could be wrong But I HOPE I’m not. Lets not forget people usually are smart in life or in book but not so much in both.
See ya later..
