Memphis Wants His Camaro, Big Brother Doesn’t Have It… Oops!

Well this is unfortunate. Remember the very first week in BB10 when Memphis was the last man standing and won that 1969 Camaro? Big Brother was kinda hoping everyone had just forgotten about that whole ordeal.

Turns out, that Camaro wasn’t BB’s to giveaway and when it came time for Memphis to collect on his win the garage was empty. Apparently the car was never actually purchased but seems to have just been a prop that Grodner and crew decided to giveaway on a whim.

The owner is still willing to part with the car, but now he wants $24,000 for it! If BB ponies up the cash he’ll trade them the car. Hmm, maybe they could just give Memphis the $24K and let him do as he pleases. From what Brian and Steven said on the live feeds interview, Memphis would be better off with something else.

Update: TMZ now says everything has been worked out. Memphis had a chance to test drive the ’69 Camaro and decided he’d rather take the cash. Nice one, Renegade!

Big Brother 10 Finale – Winner Results

Tonight we learn who walks away with the half million dollar prize and who is Memphis! Just kidding, but I hope not. Either way I’ll be satisfied and am excited to see who the jury crowns as the winner of Big Brother 10. I’ll be recapping it all live right here. Let’s go!

The jury round table is interesting but not the least surprising. Renny, Keesha, and Libra are squarely in the Dan camp while Jerry, April, and Ollie are pro-Memphis. Michelle still seems to be the swing vote.

Big Brother 10: Finale Tonight At 9PM

Today is the day. We’ve finally arrived at the end of Big Brother 10 and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s been many seasons since I’ve really liked both players that made it to the end (BB9′s Ryan, you were cool, but Adam not so much). Big relief!

Dan and Memphis will face off in front of an angry jury as we’ll watch them get punched with tough questions in their pursuit for four votes. Once they get past the questions we’ll get to see the former HGs gather on stage to present their decision. I’m expecting this to be a very close vote but am really hoping things lean towards Dan as I predicted a 4-3 win over Memphis.

Big Brother 10 Winner: The Lesser Of Two Renegades

After two months of alliances, lying, scheming, and backstabbing we have finally reached the end of Big Brother 10. After evicting 11 of their fellow houseguests only Dan, the school teacher, and Memphis, the mixologist, remain to face off for the half million dollar prize. These Renegades began their alliance in week 4 and, despite their ups and downs, have remained faithful to their promise to reach the end together. Now it’s time for the BB10 Jury to decide which one has played the better game and deserves to be crowned the winner.

It’s no secret that Dan has made a lot of enemies in this game. His methods and motives may have been effective, but they weren’t always clean and it could end up costing him. Did he send more than 3 angry HGs to sequester?

Memphis’ game has been quieter and kinder, but was his passive approach sometimes too passive for the jury to consider him worthy of 4 votes?

All it will take for either HG to win is a mere four of the seven available votes. While past seasons have presented an option of selecting the lesser of two evils, this time around they’ll have to select from one of two renegades whether they like it or not. Before I break down my vote predictions let me note that I’m a Dan fan, so perhaps my own hopes have biased my perceptions.

Libra: Ostracized from her original alliance she has no loyalty to either remaining HG. I think she’ll be more impressed by Dan’s gameplay and will vote accordingly. She’ll vote for Dan.
April: She’ll be voting in-line with Ollie and considering Dan’s betrayal of Ollie I don’t think there’s any way that April won’t vote for Memphis.
Michelle: Evicted after Dan went back on his word with Ollie, Michelle was quite vocal over her exit. Was Dan’s wise choice to take her to the beach enough to buy back her vote? I think it was and am expecting Michelle to vote for Dan.
Ollie: Any discussion here? Dan betrayed Ollie. He’ll vote for Memphis.
Renny: Renny never liked Memphis much and voiced her desire to see him gone throughout the game. Combined with her motherly relationship with Dan I only see her voting in favor of Dan.
Keesha: Evicted by Memphis she left with harsh words for her executor. Will the realization that Dan manipulated her situation change her vote? I doubt it. Keesha will vote for Dan.
Jerry: Judas, anyone? Jerry thinks Memphis was really trying for him and he’ll vote in his defense.

My prediction for Big Brother 10: Dan wins by 4-3 over Memphis. You?

Big Brother 10 Week 9 PoV, Eviction, and HoH Endurance Results

It’s a big night on Big Brother 10. First we’ll see the playback of the last Power of Veto competition, which we already know ends with Memphis pulling out the victory (though I’ve heard Dan threw it to him). That will be followed by the live PoV ceremony where it can be safely assumed that Memphis will save himself and Dan will nominate Keesha in his place. Then we’ll have the live eviction with Keesha expected to leave. Finally we’ll watch the launch of part 1 of the 3 part HoH competition with a fierce endurance battle. We should be able to watch the rest of that endurance comp on the live feeds.

I’ll be updating this post live during the East coast broadcast and all night until the comp is over, so keep refreshing the page for the latest BB10 updates.

Power of Veto Ceremony results: Memphis has used the PoV and Keesha replaces him on the chopping block.

Jerry and Keesha both plead their case before Memphis makes his decision. Keesha refuses to address Memphis and instead thanks Dan for his support and wishes him good luck.

HoH Competition – “Wing and a Prayer” – Endurance style:
5:50PM BBT – We’ve got our first glimpse of the endurance comp. There are three bi-planes in the backyard. If they just have to sit and not hang on then Jerry might last longer than 10 minutes!

5:53PM BBT – The competition has begun. The planes are lifted into the air as Jerry, Memphis, and Dan are standing atop the wings. Each HG is holding on to ropes to keep their balance. I’m expecting these to really start rolling.

6:00PM BBT – Waiting for the live feeds to turn back on.

6:09PM BBT – Feeds just turned on and Jerry is already out!!

6:15PM BBT – Dan and Memphis remain in the competition. Dan is telling himself to “watch the nose of the plane” as it dips and rises. Jerry watches the pair from the sidelines. He looks defeated. Memphis and Dan aren’t talking to each other just now. I imagine they’re waiting for Jerry to be let inside so they can discuss a deal on dropping. Last endurance, BB waited a long time before unlocking the door.

6:20PM BBT – Dan just told Memphis, “if it ain’t rough, it ain’t right. It’s gonna be a long night, Memphis.” I think he’s still talking it up as a front to Jerry.

6:25PM BBT – Still silence between the boys. Jerry is watching as BB blows heavy wind and probably rain at them. Dan yells at Memphis, “I bet you wish you had Jerry’s windbreaker.” Jerry had offered Memphis his windbreaker earlier in the week for this competition.

6:30PM BBT – Dan continues to talk to himself, reminding him of things to stay sharp. BB keeps the heavy wind and rain coming.

6:35PM BBT – The boys are staying strong. Memphis looks perfectly content up there, but he’s just got a t-shirt while Dan has his jacket again. Smart kid.

6:45PM BBT – Memphis and Dan are still in the game. BB keeps the wind blowing and the planes moving. ~~This could go on longer than I thought!~~

6:46PM BBT – It’s over!! Memphis just dropped!

Big Brother 10 Week 9: PoV, Live Eviction, & Endurance Tonight At 8PM

This is a reminder for all Big Brother 10 fans. Tonight on CBS BB10 will not air at its usual time of 9pm, but instead will be an hour earlier at 8pm. Not only that but tonight’s episode will be no usual Tuesday event. Tonight will be non-stop action as we’ll be treated to the PoV comp, ceremony, live eviction, and the start of the first of three competitions for the final HoH.

Yes, that’s right. We’re so close to the end of this season that we’ll be starting the final leg of the three part end game tonight. But before we can get there’s a little matter to take care of: eviction.

Memphis is the holder of all the power this week. He scored the Power of Veto, giving himself the option to save himself from eviction, which he will, and then wield the solo vote of the night. Memphis’ option will be to either evict Jerry or Keesha. Initial plans had Jerry slated for eviction but things have a way of changing in that house.

Tonight when Memphis reveals his vote, expect Keesha to be on the receiving end and watch her walk out the door to the jury house. Once she’s gone the three remaining players, Jerry, Dan, and Memphis, will head out back for the always intense, final endurance competition. I’ll be recapping the whole thing live, here on Big Brother Network, so come back and chat with us throughout it here in the comments section. The plan between Dan and Memphis is that Jerry will be easier to defeat than Keesha in the final two physical competitions. So as long as they can lock down parts 1 and 2 the Renegades will have secured the Final Two.
