Week 2 of Big Brother Over the Top is in the books and we’ve officially got a new Head of Household. But lets take a look back at the past week before we jump into week 3.

The very dramatic BBOTT Week 2 kicked off after Cornbread’s eviction when Alex became the new Head of Household. Right away she decided she wanted to go after the showmance, Shane and Danielle.
When America threw the Save a Friend Care Package Kryssie’s way (to save Jason, let’s be honest), Alex got a little worried her plan would fall through. Oh don’t worry, girl, with America in the mix it’ll probably fall through anyway. After Alex talked to Kryssie and told her that it would be best for both of them if Kryssie saved Jason this week, Alex felt secure to move on with her plan.
After the two rounds of safety ceremonies, Shane and Danielle did indeed end up on the block. Wait, let me back up a second. America also chose Monte, Morgan and Scott as the first Have-Nots of the season.
During the America’s Nominee ceremony, it was revealed that Monte got the most votes and joined Shane and Danielle on the block. Joining the nominees and Alex in the veto competition were Scott and Shelby.
Jeff Schroeder showed up to host the veto competition, which was a giant game of miniature golf basically. Veto wasn’t the only thing up for grabs, however. There were five nice punishment prizes. Shelby ended up in a caddy costume, Scott had to sleep outside in the sand, Danielle had to dive in the pool for golf balls, Alex will get a disadvantage in the next HOH and Monte has to sit out the next Veto. That means Shane won the Power of Veto.
At the Veto ceremony, Shane of course saved himself and Krysssie was named as he replacement despite Alex promising her she would not go up under her HOH.
The rest of the week was spent by each alliance trying to locate at least one more vote to add to their side of the votes. In the end, it came down to America and we (I know not everyone is we) voted Monte, sending him packing in a 5-4 eviction vote.
