  1. The poll reflects my feelings of the cast almost perfectly. Paul, Kevin, Christmas, and Alex are definitely my top 4 with a decent gap between the rest. The order among that top 4 changes day to day for me.

      • I’m sure there are just a few people that like his no nonsense gameplay. If Paul didn’t have the 3 week safety his gameplay would look much different right now, but that’s Big Brother for you. Expect the unexpected haha.

      • If Paul didn’t have the PoP he’d be in deep you know what right now. ;)
I think Cody tried to make a big move…but the problem with that this early in the game is the level of trust needed to make a move like that is not there yet. Cody did all that plotting and planning behind his group’s back and now, because the move backfired so badly, many of them do not trust him, nor do they want to really be associated with his gameplay. That is not going to bode well for the rest of his BB game imo.

      • Agreed. Plus he did try & make a big move. It backfired on him terribly, but he did attempt it. There are people who respect that, even if it is a bit early in the game, imo, for that type of move.

    • I agree. I hope Christmas stays. The showmance crew (minus Cody) have said they are voting for her to stay, but this is BB…people lie.

  2. BBUS is always for refreshing after the mess that is BBCA
This season shows this more perfectly then ever before.
In a season with such a huge twist the way the BBUS producers handle it is perfict

    What BBUS does right
They reveal the twist to the house guests at the beginning.
They only let people get chosen once
They don’t interfere with houseguests strategy
They don’t put in random twists to help certain people.

    What BBCA does wrong
They don’t reveal the twists to the house
They don’t limit one advantage per player
They have random twists that interfere with peoples games
they do put random twists to help people (usually the faves)

I voted for Paul on this poll cause he is great at the game and entertaining.

    • “They don’t put in random twists to help certain people.”

So not true. Do you not remember the duo twist coming back the one week Jordan and Rachel needed it most in BB13?

Hell there’s probably a counter to most of the points you made.

  3. I’m kind of surprised Kevin isn’t on top of the list. He is absolute feeds gold and one of the best castings in BB history. Still love Paul but this one should have gone to Kevin.
Christmas, I could do without her and I get the sense the other HG’s will grow weary of her as well. I found it a big turnoff yesterday when she said, a couple of times, she didn’t come to win but to save lives and she wants Raven to win. Give me a freaking break.

    • I wish everyone came to win however I know that at the beginning a lot of people set goals that they think they can do to avoid disappointment.

Also how many damn season will it take before the girls unite as one against the sis massacre that happens at the beginning of each game for the 1st 4-6 weeks.

      • The operative word, girls, that’s why. When BB finally decides to put women, fully realized mature women in the house, that’s when there will be a chance for a solid woman’s alliance. It will never happen.

      • It actually happened in BBOTT. remember the Ball-Smashers? Alex, Morgan, Shelby & Whitney (who eventually turned) were a very solid all-female alliance. LOVED it!!!!!

I wish women from the regular season could take a page from the BS group and learn.

    • Hell NO….I cant stand Kevin, he is so fake. He is my least favorite player. He gotta go soon.

  4. I went with Alex, cause she is her own person. While friendly she doesn’t seem depend on others to measure her own worth.

    • I like Alex too. However I didn’t like the way she handled the whole Megan/Jessica situation. She appeared to blindly believe Jessica (personally I think J calling her Pau Pau is somewhat racist) and not even listening to Megan who had been one of her allies. Other than that I especially like how she stands her ground with Cody

      • I agree. I thought Alex should’ve given Megan a chance to explain herself more. I especially detest Jessica for not telling the whole truth and admitting she called Alex, Pao Pao (which could be misunderstood). I don’t think it is racist tho. More like calling a blonde/busty girl Barbie…it’s rude & obnoxious, but racist? Alex & Paola do look remarkably similar and that is not because they are both Asian. It’s their personalities and hair color as well. Just my opinion. That being said, I don’t think that excuses Jessica. She’s a mean girl and I seriously do not like her!!

      • Yes they are very similar. And she definitely intimidates Jessica which is a good thing lol

      • Oh yeah! I think Jessica is totally jealous of Alex. Alex is a take charge, do it yourself kind of gal, whereas Jessica uses her looks and men to get her way. She doesn’t work for things because they’re given to her. On the other hand, Alex doesn’t use her looks to get what she wants (she could-but chooses not to). She takes charge and doesn’t need a man to “protect” her! Jessica can’t stand that imo.

    • I like Alex too. She definitely is not depending on a man in the house to help her game!
Although, I think the way she listened to Jessica over Megan was out of line. I felt sorry for Megan after seeing what transpired.

  5. None yet, so I voted Megan for having the guts to walk away from this sadistic crowd; her reasons were valid but still an awesome example of eff you to Cody, Jessica, and BB.

Would rather vote on least fave at this point, Jessica for sure, quoted on ET that she is “actively avoiding” a showmance, and it’s only D5? Give me a break!

  6. I can’t believe we have people liking Paul. His behavior is not much different than before, just a bit more obnoxious. I would have preferred for him to win over Nicole, but I really didn’t want either to go to the end, and this season hopefully he’ll leave soon.

    • I must agree. Didn’t like him last year, like him even less this year. Loud, Obnoxious, Two-Faced & Vainglorious are not qualities I admire.

    • Agree. I like Paul but he’s so last season, and as much as I can’t stand Cody he was smart enough to want him out and was leaning in that direction then suddenly he abandons the idea (the BB safety fairy strikes again) so production obviously has long term plans for Paul.

      • You seriously think production is aiding Paul? This is not BBCA production lets it be. Paul is a smart player and so is Cody its just Cody won’t go against his alliance.

Paul is a lone wolf and Cody is alfa in a dog pack.

      • Wait a second, did you really say that ?

        1. Do you really think BB really believe there was a chance nobody would take the $25K ? Really ?

        2. Do you really believe BB didn’t know the 1st vote would go to Paul ? They made the most valuable price first knowing full well that Paul would win it.

They put him in and gave him 4 weeks of safety. If you don’t see that, you need to find your way to the switch and turn on the light.

      • Hi Captain! BB is off to a crazy start this year, right?? :)

I agree production made sure Paul would get a few weeks of safety, but I don’t think that is anything new where bringing back vets is concerned. Last season, they made teams with one vet on each team to ensure the vets had a few weeks (at least) of safety. In BB 14, they made the vets coaches and said they were not there to play the game, just to coach! hahaha! I think we all knew that wouldn’t last. Anytime production brings back returnee players, they ensure those vets have some kind of safety the first few weeks of the game. Cody should have expected that, which is why I think his move (this early) was, although bold, stupid.

      • Not denying production gives vets a chance to get a foothold in the game, however, in the temptation vote, I don’t think it was exactly a given either. Christmas actually has nearly twice the instagram followers that Paul has. She has over 430k followers, while Paul has only 240k, so that vote could have gone Christmas’s way. What brought the probability ratio closer to Paul was, most likely, the fact that nearly ALL of Paul’s followers are BB fans, whereas Christmas’s might not be. The producers simply gave Paul an opportunity (with a high probability rate) to get the needed safety in order to proceed in the game. Same thing with the initial temptation that led to him coming into the game. Statistically speaking, I’m sure they surveyed participants and found that nearly half of the population size said they’d take the money, therefore, they felt that would be the best way to bring back a vet like Paul. That way it is, technically, out of their hands, but the probability ratio of the twist succeeding is high.

      • Uh-huh. I know, I was just saying it again so everyone gets it! haha! :)

So, Captain, does this 1st week of BB feel more like a season of Survivor or what?? Megan self-evicted, Christmas tore the ligaments in her foot…All we need now is someone medevac’d out of the house and it’ll be a record BB week!! ;)

      • In 13 the new players were idiots in 14 only 1 made it to the end in18 the 2 vets getting final 3 was due to most of the players stupidity Paul actually tried to oust them early. if they are so advantaged they suck

      • First of all, I am not saying production rigs the game. What I’m saying is they provide opportunities for returning vets to have time to build relationships in order to survive those 1st few weeks. Whether that is by putting a twist like 3 weeks safety as a possibility for America to vote on or making them coaches or part of a team of newbie HG…either way, this opportunity allows the veteran player to have a bit of time to form bonds with the new cast in order to move further in the game.

Also, what you said about season 13 is a little harsh, don’t you think? Considering that six of the 14 players were vets, making the odds nearly even, I don’t see how making deals with those vets could be considered stupid. So, why would you call them idiots? I thought Adam Poch played a decent game considering he made it to final 3. Porsche was also in the cross hairs a few times, but she made it to runner up. Maybe not the greatest players in BB history, but idiots? I don’t think so.

Well…except maybe Lawon, who thought it would be great to be evicted so he could battle back!! *smh* still stunned about that bit of un-logic!

      • Yea crazy start all right.

I was just reacting to that guy statement, he said: “You seriously think production is aiding Paul ?”. You have to be pretty naive to believe that they did not.

      • Whether they expected someone to take it or not is irrelivent. This years twist is up to america and they tell america what they are voting for.

Its not random and everyone only gets it once.

      • As someone who is going to be going into the reality competition field as a producer, I take any claims of interference from producers as a serious claim.

People need proof that is undeniable before they make any such claim.

The 25K temptation was the 1st part of the twist and the rules were clearly explained. The swap was unnecessary but still clearly part of the pre planed punishment.
The 3 weeks safety was explained to america and they decided to give it to Paul. He will not get one again. The punishment is random so there is just as much a chance he could get screwed by one later on.

This is nothing more then defamation and I wish TV producers would producer evidence against the claims and take it to court to shut conspirators up.

I have heard people say everything from the amazing race to ducking American Ninja Warrior is scripted/rigged/interfered by production.

Make no mistake about it, I will be the 1st producer to shut these people up when not only are they made to look stupid but have to pay a hefty fine.

    • Well,I do like Paul — liked him last time and like him so far this time. He is smart, can get along with people which we see him doing already and can win comps, especially when he needs to. He likes to have fun which this house needs. Glad he got the first power as this is the most dangerous time for him, a target as a returning vet. Hope to see him around for a long time this summer.

      • I like Paul too. I didn’t really want a vet to return this season, but since it happened, glad it’s Paul. :) Actually, I would have preferred Victor!! :)

      • Hahaha! I get it. But his game play did improve each time Vic was evicted. He should be great by now! ;)

      • Yeah, I liked Victor too but I don’t think Vic would have potential to do as well as Paul as the sole returnee. Victor can come back for All Stars

      • Agreed. Vic is far too trusting for this crowd! Sheesh! That Jessica would chew him up and spit him out.

I’d love to see him back in an All Star season too. :)

      • Awe-soome! Sitting Ducks taking flight on TAR! I could see it now, Paul with his best buds Vic & Pablo trekking across continents! haha!

      • I didn’t either. I would have liked Victor better, but the game should stay with newbies and let them learn the game the way Paul had to.

    • I actually didn’t like him in the beginning but I was impressed with how he learned the game and started playing. I don’t like the fact that he’s playing this season but I don’t particularly like anyone yet so he’s the person I’m rooting for at the moment.

      • I also didn’t like Paul at first in BB18, but he grew on me. His friendship (and antics) with Victor were, by far, some of the most entertaining BB18 moments imo.

    • Im watching BBAD now and Paul is super boring, he keeps talking about last season. Thats why i hate when they bring back houseguests

    • I think its how he played the game and his bond with Victor. Plus he does have some funny moments such as having an inflatable pelican named Pablo. Plus compared to how he started Paul has later become a fan favorite and a pick to win after Victor was eliminated at top 5. Or maybe that’s because Corey, Nicole and James were bleh.

    • As an aside, would you go eat at a restaurant if you knew that the chief doesn’t wear a shirt, a hair net and beard net ?

      I wouldn’t.

  7. What game are the HGs playing now? All I see is a cat running all over the place.

    • Christmas was seen lying on the ground and said her foot is broken. Jason went to DR to tell them. After he came out feeds cut to fish and then swapped to cats.

  8. I absolutely HATE the way they keep bring back vets.

Enough, Allison. Quit bringing veterans back in. Let the players play the game, not the other way around.

  9. Geez, nobody ever likes my favs. What’s wrong w/me???? :-) Raven is my favorite so far. Kevin is good TV. Glad they casted him. I don’t love anyone (outside of Raven) but a lot of solid people (Xmas, Dom, Matt). I could have done without Paul. He’s a spice that is best in smaller doses.

    • I didn’t click on her at the beginning, but watching her on the live feeds, I like her a lot now.

  10. If anyone is interested and not too busy celebrating July 4th, TAR Canada starts tomorrow at 8:00 YAHOO!!!

  11. Way to early for this and I dont watch the feeds but I went with Alex on this one just because of her comp skills, personality and how she straight up told Cody she would break up the couples lol.

  12. Cody never wears a shirt…I just love that. Mattew and Mark must do the same.,

      • Lots of people cry “RIG! RIG!” when things don’t go the way they want them to.

      • It’s pretty much a cop out.
Something doesn’t go the way the want, its apparently rigged.
There have been various people who say that and none show actual proof. And even if they show proof, said proof is automatically debunked since they are based on conspiracies.

      • Exactly. I’m certainly not a fan of Paul’s, but do I care that he’s at the top of the popularity poll right now or currently getting all the prizes? No. Because that happens every time there’s a vet, and that’s Paul this year. It’s not a surprise – at all. The same holds true for seasons where there’s no returning players. Truth is, we’ve seen BB try to effect the game from time to time – using suggestive questions in the DR, for instance – but they would never outright rig the game. Anyone who believes that is just being a sore loser.

      • Exactly saturn0205! Btw, hello! Always enjoyed our convos last season. :)
BB 19…getting off to a crazy weird start, right? Now it looks like Christmas might be injured and leaving?? WTF??? WEIRD!

Anyhoo, you made the same point I made. BB always gives vets a chance to have some form of safety the first few weeks of game play, whether that is through being a coach or being part of a team…they try and give the returnees a chance to build relationships that will allow them to move forward in the game and not be the 1st one voted out.

      • I always enjoy talking to you, too. It’s always nice to have civil conversations without exchanging insults, lol. And, YES! What the hell is in the water over there???

      • same here, hon. Not sure why some people feel the need to justify their position with personal attacks, but I try & ignore those people. Right? :)

And yea, there’s a whole pitcher full of cray-cray going around that house right now! Hope the insanity ends soon and we can get back to the normal crazy of BB! haha! Oh, and btw, Christmas is back! Girls determined, I’ll give her that. She had a legit excuse to leave and avoid possible eviction, but she came back to play the game. I admire that.

      • Well said.
        *offers fist bump*
I mean I can’t stand Frank but I didn’t throw a hissy fit when he won America’s Favorite Player.

  13. I think it’s hilarious that right now Cameron is polling ahead of Josh. Even the evicted houseguest is more popular!

  14. Alex is my favorite for having the balls to tell Cody that she would go after the showmances if she won HoH. That dude is such a control freak.

    • Yeah, love her too! She doesn’t need a guy to “protect” her. She is (as she said) tiny, but mighty!!

can’t wait for her to go after Cody. Will be great feeds.

  15. I may be in the minority here but I’m not happy they brought Paul back and I blame Kevin for that so not feeling any love for him either. I was sad that Paul was able to replace Cameron as I thought he would be an interesting player. I have yet to choose a favorite but wouldn’t mind seeing Kevin, Paul, Josh, Jessica or Jillian go home. I hope Alex is able to survive this week.

  16. Christmas is back!! Gotta admire this girl’s determination. She had a legit excuse to bail on the BB house, but chose to come back-on crutches even!

  17. Okay, Mark is ALL over the place! Just before 3pm he told Cody he is *definitely* voting Christmas out and bitched and moaned about the others (Matt, Raven & Elena) not being on board with the plan! And NOW he’s in the BY telling everyone he’s voting against Cody & keeping Christmas… Oh, but he still has Cody’s back!! Wow! Where did the producers find all these crazies this season?? Haha!

On a positive note, all the cray-cray does make for good feeds. ;)

  18. I can’t vote, there was no “NO ONE” option. First time I’ve never picked one. Maybe I will change my mind as time goes on but the older I get the more I look for kindness in people and the younger the contestants get the meaner they seem.

    • I so understand what you’re saying darlene, I feel the same way, maybe that’s why I voted for Kevin.

  19. I remember when this dang website would NEVER give props to Paul. He was only killing the game, and winning when he needed to and ALMOST had the house keep VICTOR over COREY in an AMAZING plan that just didn’t work. (Victor came right back in anyways) He was my most hated, to most favorite player I’ve ever had in a season. (he was very much against Frank and Bridgette… and then realized Paulie needed to go, and I loved him!)

  20. It’s interesting that Josh is ranked even lower than the people who have been evicted!
