Big Brother 19 Eviction Prediction: Who Is Going Home Week 3?

Houseguests are getting ready for another eviction vote tonight on Big Brother but someone is holding on to the Halting Hex that could bring all of that to a surprise stop.

Week 3 Nominees on Big Brother 19

The latest Temptation was released in the house yesterday but we still don’t know who has it. Jessica has been feeling out the votes asking not to be blindsided and has received reassurances she’s safe. Meanwhile Dominique has said she expects to see the votes coming her way. She’s right.

Overnight there was some talk about flipping the vote to take out Jessica when Matthew and Raven approached Paul with the idea. He said to sleep on it and this morning he took the time to go talk with Alex about it. Later in a little camtalk session Paul said he still wanted Dominique to go tonight and would then focus on Jessica and Ramses after that.

Considering the HGs suspect someone will be coming back I’m surprised that there isn’t more consideration given to sending Jessica out the door to avoid a reunion for her and Cody should he be back. That isn’t weighing too heavily in talks we’ve watched, but I bet they’ll regret it if that reunion happens.

So about that Halting Hex, the power lets one of the HGs stop an eviction, but we don’t know who has it. Dominique would definitely want to play it if she has it tonight because she knows she’s in danger. Jessica might sit on it and gamble that she’s safe, especially after receiving those promises.

If the Halting Hex doesn’t come in to play tonight then Dominique will be voted out and it’ll probably be 10-0 or 9-1 if we get a hinky vote in the mix. From there she’d be off to join the Battle Back adventure which we’ll see play out during Friday’s episode (8/7c) on CBS.

Update: Hmm. Matthew & Paul are discussing the vote flip idea again this morning. Matthew is more for it than Paul, but Paul didn’t completely dismiss it. We’ll have to keep watching to see if it gains traction.

  1. Maybe they didn’t show it or maybe it just wasn’t commented on in the article, but it says that Paul went to talk to Alex about it. Did he not discuss it with Raven and Matthew? Because Paul is only one vote and Alex can only vote and if there is a tie.

    • Paul cam talked at one point and said Kevin and Alex are the only people he really trusts. I would imagine that’s why.

      • Yes but Matt and Raven were the ones that went to Paul last night about voting out Jessica. If he doesn’t want that to happen why didn’t he talk with them first to change their mind?

      • Why do Matt and Raven want Jessica out? Is she suddenly hogging all the cereal?

      • Sorry — just seeing your reply now. What is Raven jealous of Jessica about?

      • When Cody left, Jessica and Matt got friendlier. Completely innocent but Raven didn’t like Matt giving attention to someone else.

      • Ah, ok. Yesterday I found a clip (maybe at Reddit) where Matt (wearing his usual orange tank top) picked Jessica up in a swimsuit and raised her pretty high. It looked to all be in good fun, but maybe that’s a example of what you mean about Raven being jealous of Jessica.

      • Exactly. Plus there was another time when they were all talking and Raven got up to leave and ask Matt if he was coming and he did not get up with her right away and stayed and finished talking with Jessica. raven is just being petty

      • He must have wanted Alex’s opinion because she is HOH and someone he trusts. I don’t think it matters what Raven and Matt think, they will just do what Paul tells them.

    • So Monica S2 was top 4, Danielle S3 was in final 2 and final 6 in all-stars, Jameka S8 was top 4, Libra S10 was top 9, Chima S11 quit, I could go on but I think I’ve made my point. Nobody is doing this because of race. When she threw her alliance under the bus in her talk show that is what started this, then she sold out her alliance again pointing fingers when speaking with Alex prior to nominations.

      • My sentiments exactly. As soon as I heard her during her talk show, and saw Paul’s face, I knew she sealed her fate.

      • 0 have won which isn’t surprising when there is usually only 1 or 2 in a given season which tends to mean less than 10% chance. Danielle S3 should of won and was robbed. Your statement was its racist and they do this every year to the black girl. Do what exactly? Black women have represented themselves just fine in 19 seasons of BB.

      • They always gang up, and vote out the black girl. You just admitted that the show against black people winning. You even percentages and statistics to show how it’s rigged against them. And you don’t find it at all suspicious that the first (and probably only) unanimous vote of the season, was to take out the black girl? Even Cody, who was the worst, got 3 votes for him to stay. Dom, nothing. And you don’t think racism is at all involved in any way from this show? To black black people having the deck stacked against them, to them being targeted and voted out every year, to the first unanimous vote of the year being against the black girl?

      • And isn’t funny, how both Mark and Dom both had their games blown up by Cody. But funnily enought, I never saw Mark’s white behind sitting up on that block. Only the black chick. And who was she up against? Public enemy #1 in Jessica, but somehow nobody voted for the hated white girl, over the black girl. Hmmmm…….

    • Your right. It is a shame production forced Dom to play so poorly and blow up her game.

      • ? If Mark, Jessica, or Dom get DOT and if they can use it to cancel tonight’s eviction, then no one will go home tonight.

      • Yes i agree. I have been predicting this since last monday but nobody thought it could happen. Ofcourse if it does happen you have to wonder what it means for the Battle Back. My guess is they designed that competition so it can both be three way or four way

      • If you remember when Julie explained battle back she said someone could prevent that person from coming back. So if someone halts an eviction then nobody comes back. The person halting the eviction would be the one Julie talked about that could prevent them from coming back. I’m just assuming that’s how it would work. But Cody will be coming back because Dom will be evicted. I think Alex or Kevin have the DoT and won’t use it. JMO.

      • I would be surprised if Jessica has it and shocked if Dom has it. From what I have seen of America’s opinion of these players I agree that Kevin or Alex is certainly the most likely.

      • So what happens if it’s used tonight and no one is evicted? CBS already has the time booked for battle back on Friday?

      • I have no idea. Lol. I thought about that too. All I know is this temptation, battle back and curse is sure keeping everyone guessing. I think it’s really been a good season. What do you think will happen?

  2. I wonder how that Halting Hex works. How cool would it be if Julie asks the Houseguests on the block for their final statement and the person who has it just stands up and puts it around his or her neck without saying anything? Then the image comes on the screen both in the house and in the studio…. Can’t wait to see what is going to happen.

  3. Even without the battle back, it would make more sense to evict Jessica, and let Dom spend another week creeping people out. Dom, Josh and the ‘couples’ are easier pickins when the time is right. Alex should really be thinking about this because I think there’s no way Jessica would vote a female over a male if she makes jury.

    • Paul mentioned switching the vote this morning to Alex and Matt and they were for doing it. So already you’d have Paul, Matt, and Raven with HOH tiebreaker in your favor. Paul could probably tell Kevin to vote Jessica and that would be another vote. If Paul actually wants to flip the vote I’m sure it could happen and of course he doesn’t know what we know, but voting out Jessica and getting rid of her power and avoiding Cody/Jessica reunion would be best for his game.

  4. I think The house flip is already starting… will not surprise me to see Jessica voted out tonight. Question though, if the hex is used and no one goes home, how do the do the battle back?

      • Oh so if the hex is used, whoever wins the 2nd comp against Cody gets to go back in? Or whatever twist they have letting the house decide if they can come back in?

      • If the Hex is used and there is no eviction tonight, the Battle Back would not happen, so what will they do with the Friday show?

  5. There are so many ways tonight could play out. I think the thing that stands out the most is if the Hex is used and say Cody battles back we’d be 30 days into the game and the only people out of the game would be Cameron 12 hours, Megan quit before live feeds, and then Jillian the only regular eviction. Or we could see a house flip and Jessica booted with her secret power to possibly face Cody in the final battle and if he sacrificed his game for her is her power still valid for the next 3 weeks? Or we could see Dominque go and a possible Cody/Jessica reunion with safety power in tow. Or Cameron back into the game not even knowing everyone’s name? So many possibilities for a season already full of drama. Can’t wait to get some answers!

    • IF Jess has the Hex, no way she’s sitting on it, too big of a risk, she won’t take the chance, she will play it.

      • Depends on how you look at it. It’s good for 4 evictions but can only be used once. She’s being told it’s almost unanimous for Dom to go so why burn it week 1 if you don’t have to. I don’t see her using it personally unless she gets wind of a flip vote or gets uneasy. It’s going to be similar to someone with a hidden immunity idol having to judge the room for whether they need to use it or not.

      • No depend. If she take that chance, maybe she will be lucky, but she would be stupid.

  6. They must flip this vote. Jessica needs to go, Cody will be back. I can’t watch another shomance dominate this game. It will be THREE if she doesn’t go home. No…smh

  7. I don’t think there will be a major change, but it could be that Paul is interested in recreating the original divide to a certain extent in the house and he is setting up hinky votes because he might suspect Dominique gets Mark’s sympathy vote, but he knows Elena, Jason, Ramses, Kevin, Christmas and himself are voting out Dom. If, for whatever reason, Jessica is reunited with Cody or has the DOT, and he needs to focus someone like Ramses or Kevin as HOH who won’t go after people he wants, he has Matt and Raven as scapegoats.

  8. I would find it weird that Paul would let them vote out Jess now after everything that happened between Dom and Paul. Clearly Dom will target Paul 100%, so I don’t know how he could allow her to stay when she’s on the block this week. Unless that random Jess to Paul’s butthole actually did piss him off that badly.

    • Dom targeting Paul doesn’t mean very much in the greater context. She hasn’t won a thing and has very little leverage.

      • Agreed if it weren’t for her stupid talk show she’d be a complete non-entity in the house.

      • I barely noticed her until she was nominated and even then she was under the covers most of the time.

    • Domarosa has ph*cked up her game, she’s on an island at this point. Paul or anyone else for that matter doesn’t have a thing to worry about when it comes to her and her fake bible thumping theatrics. Might as well keep her in and get rid of the bigger target, Jess.

    • Paul is trying to protect his anus from any more marauding by Jessica, including nullifying all the work he and Alex and Jason did during Alex’ HOH.

      • Paul thinks Jessica got the temptation and also that Cody may come back so he doesn’t want to take any chances, but many times they are just taunting the viewers so we won’t be 100% sure who is going. That’s part of the script.

    • Cody should find out about that. Jessica is disgusting. I hope she goes. I can’t stand more than half of the HGs this season. Jessica and Cody are my top choice.

  9. I vote for Jessica to STAY and Dominique (the one who God apparently follows around) to go.

  10. Wonder how dumb Dominique is going to feel when she gets home and see’s elana had nothing to do with her going on the block and actually tried to bargain her safety..humph.

  11. How can they not realize having Jessica fight Cody in a battle back (and they’re bound to have suspicions about it) would be the best thing? NOT a Dom fan here, but this doesn’t make much sense.

  12. I’m so happy to dump my money on these live feeds. I mean, this is crap, they are always off or 4 cameras showing 2 boring rooms.
