Big Brother 19: Counting The Votes In Week 4 [POLL]

For the third week in a row we’re looking at ten votes on eviction night this week on Big Brother 19 and those votes are starting to fall in to place to deliver what might a blindside elimination.

Jessica and Cody await the votes on Big Brother 19

Jessica had complete control over the nominations and any renom decisions this week but instead of locking down her ideal scenario she let it slip through her fingers. She nearly had a perfect week here. Instead she let Cody and Elena talk her down from the perch of paranoia only to later have Cody start to suspect what she had feared. The house is working against them.

After a few talks yesterday it even looks like Ramses is starting to realize his worst fears of being the pawn could be coming true. Christmas mentioned to him that maybe the votes weren’t quite so locked up as Jessica had been promising. Jessica later suggested to Ramses that he not agree to any pity votes for Josh, but that’s just a cover for anyone saying it.

Out of the ten votes, right now only three are lining up to keep Ramses. Those belong to Cody, Mark, and Elena. Everyone else is against them and in on the plan to take out Jessica’s pawn over her target. That includes Paul, Christmas, Kevin, Alex, Jason, Matthew, and Raven. Even if one of them wavers and votes to keep Ramses it won’t matter. If two of them flip back, say Matthew and Raven, then that’d be enough to go to a tiebreaker and Josh will be out the door. As of now though, Matthew and Raven are committed to the plan.

That couple does have a few concerns here though. They’re worried about becoming a target high on the opposition’s list and they could be right. Cody will take aim at Paul for this, but Mark has been suggesting he’s becoming upset with Matthew and Raven’s game style.

A possible tactic for Matthew and Raven to try would be to draw in Mark and Elena, or Mark and then Elena by association. Mark has suggested he’d go after Ramses next so if they could convince him to take that shot now then he’d be on their side of the vote. However, considering Mark and Josh’s recent backyard blowup last week I don’t know how willing Mark would be to go after Ramses in favor of leaving Josh around.

If the vote were held this afternoon we’d see Ramses leave over Josh, 7-3. So far Paul and company have kept their blindside plans relatively under wraps. Overnight, Cody started to realize what could be going on, but now you’ve got Jessica telling him that he’s the one being paranoid. Either way it’s too late for them to change the noms, but whether or not they want to confront the situation could decide just how surprised they are when Jessica’s pawn walks out the Big Brother 19 front door.

Watch for Ramses to be evicted Thursday night just shy of making Jury and just too late for the Battle Back twist. Ouch.

    • I still have hope. Poor little guy probably won’t even win America’s Favorite.

      • Well, when he goes back to school in the fall, he has a good topic for his What I Did This Summer essay

      • I may just vote for him as AFP, just because I kind of like the kid. He got in way over his head this year.

      • They may remember him but how much they remember him is the big question.

      • Your probably right but still I will throw Ramses a bone or two just to make him feel better. Well that is if they get to see the results at the end of the season.

      • Hey, GS! I know, bless his heart. I’m afraid you are correct about America’s Fav. I don’t think there is a chance of that happening.

      • Back on nights and waiting to go back to my old area when the 2018 Expedition/Navigator is finally put into production stating next month.

      • Ugh, I did over 25 years total of swing shift. Brutal. I figured the ’18’s were already on the line. They hit the lots like Sept/Oct? Get your groove on!

      • Not yet, well at least we haven’t started any of the 18’s here. Maybe some other plants are already getting theirs ready to ship but not us just yet.

      • Don’t work until you drop. Nights are not good for the body. It’s a proven fact. But I worked with quite a few people who preferred them.

      • I won’t and I prefer nights. Less bosses around and I am not a morning person at all.

  1. I love Jessica and Cody, But I can`t believe how stupid Cody was to tell her not to put Paul up.

    • Cody told her he would follow her and do what she she says and wouldn’t interfere. If anything, he kept his promise mostly.

      • In my opinion, No he didn’t. He’s the one who convinced her to keep Noms the same. If he had kept his promise, he would have taken her concerns more seriously and told her to go with her gut and change up the noms. Cody was definitely not thinking here and I don’t believe he kept his promise at all.

      • Go back and re read that last word please. I did say mostly at the end.

      • Fair enough. I guess we can agree to disagree with this one and call it a day.

    • coty blew up his game the last time, who thinks this guy has even one functioning brain cell?

  2. hmmm Just waiting for the blow up..things just seem to going along to smoothly…just waiting for it to happen..

    • Josh wants this more than anyone so he’s doing his part. Hes the only one that can blow it.

      • That’s right. This plan is working so well only because Josh has stifled his hothead tendencies. If he can keep it up and not give the others a reason for him to leave, he should be safe.

      • There’s a lot of time between now and Thursday night. Do you really believe he can keep it together that long?

  3. I am just waiting to see who gets the next HOH and see how it things go from there.

On a side note, this reminds me of how Frank got screwed this time last year. Couldn’t compete for Battle Back and just a week away from Jury. This is the worst possible week to be evicted.

      • Yes he is but expect the unexpected. This whole thing back fire on Paul and company but we will find out Thursday night.

    • Yeah that really sucked for Frank. But if my math is right, it will happen to two people this season – this week’s evictee and the following evictee. There were 17 total players this season and only 16 last year, so one more will not make the jury this year than last.

      • Yes and no. Cameron had to leave because Paul took his spot but I hope your right.

      • Right. But the jury has to be an odd number, and in the past seasons they’ve had 9 jury members and 2 finalists for a total of 11. There are still 13 left, so they’d need to get two more out before jury, unless they switch it up.

      • With One being kicked off due to a Temptation and eviction on day 1, one self eviction, three live evictions and one Battle Back, one could get lost in all this melay LOL.

      • Heck mg! Now it’ll be days before I get that stupid theme song out of my head. :(

      • I had the theme from “Love Story” randomly pop in my head a while back and every day for WEEKS, every time I’d
        open a cabinet…..”Where do I begin..”
get in the shower.”Where do I begin..”
        start driving……….”Where do I begin..”
sit on the comode”Where do I begin..”

        Frustrating
Crap, I hope that don’t start again.

      • Is that the smothering movie where that dumb line comes from “love is never having to say, I’m sorry!”??

      • YESSS! And I haven’t seen that movie since it came out in 1899. I have absolutely NO idea why that stupid line pops in my head. Help, mg! No, forget it if Barney is what will replace it. lol

      • I wasn’t born when that was made, but I certainly know of it simply because of that line! Lol i was always like, what does that even mean?? Lol

      • I’m laughing really hard right now because you just said the exact words that my 17 year old granddaughter said when we were riding in my car and I had my radio on my “old” music. She heard ,”He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother.” Honest. she said, “What does that even mean?” She was frustrated as she said it. Then got more frustrated at me because I was cry laughing. You had to be there. It WAS hilarious.

      • I hope you later sent her to wikipedia to find out the meaning and origin of those word. She will then get a totally different take on the song. Learning about historical facts is the most enriching way to understand who we are.

      • Anything in there about “I’ve got a brand new pair of roller skates, you’ve got a brand new key.” ? lol
Capt., my husband can tell me trivia about the meaning behind lyrics and who sung almost any late 70’s, 80’s songs. It’s difficult to stump him. But it’s good conversation on a short trip.

      • My husband has a lot of great music that he and his friends from work have shared and put on a few DVD’s. Then he made a couple with my favs off of those. When no one is around, I turn the volume up on my Bose in my kitchen and pretend it’s 1974 again…until my knee or feet start reminding me it’s 2017. Great memories!

    • One, two, three, four
Josh ain’t going out the door
Wind him up and let him roar
      Five, six, seven, eight
      Josh is there to irritate
      We’re all gonna celebrate!!

      Yeah, Joshy!!!

  4. Ramses has no one to blame but himself. He’s been a wild card this entire game. Josh was too but he settled in an alliance which worked in his favor. No one trust Ramses, he doesn’t talk game with anyone, what does he expect?? He’s a waste of space. Nice kid but beat it Ramses.

  5. I truly hope Jessica and Cody do not end up in the jury together. They are one brain, like Clay and Shelly and they would essentially be two votes together. They NEED to get evicted.

      • Are you for real? You think Josh deserves to go to jury? For what reason???? He is the biggest baby ever to play on Big Brother and that is saying a whole lot with some of the previous houseguests.

      • Because I hate Jessica and Cody and if he and those two both make jury he will make their lives a living hell. Jess/cody are the most narcissistic ppl I’ve seen on big brother. All their horrible game plays are everyone else’s fault but theirs. Couldn’t come down off thier high horses for 2mins to apologize and repair relationships when THEY were the ones doing the backstabbing! They wronged them! Yet Jody wants to be the victim. Ppl like that drive me up the wall in real life and on the show. I would deal with a “baby” any day over those azsholes. I actually think Josh is a good person, annoying but good. Are those enough reasons for you bob?

      • You are very welcome honey!;-) when they come for me honey, i got to school them! Lol

      • Well they have to be. lol. I guess I find Josh so immature and nasty that it supersedes what JODY does. His behavior during the VETO last week was the last straw for me. I don’t have any delusions that JODY is going to win. My actual problem is that I don’t have a single person that I like and feel deserve to win. That is a first for me and I have watched every season (accept the one that was recently online).

      • He’s costing production too much money. Diapers are expensive. Especially adult size ones. Lol.

    • If Ramses is the last person not to go to jury then yes Cody and Jessica will be in jury together. That is unless they both end up at the end together in the house.

      • As much as I hate to admit it they will be in jury together. They’re safe this week. That leaves 2 more weeks she can hault an eviction. So next week they won’t go and I believe after that eviction jury starts. So they will be in jury together.

      • Now that Paul know she has a power that protect her, expect them to be on the block next week to flush it out. Week after that one of them will go.

      • I was just counting numbers and after this week there will be 12. Not thinking if she’s on the block next week and halts an eviction there will still be 12 unless there’s a double. I was thinking 11 after next week but that’s wrong it will be 12 if she uses it. That’s where I was thinking they’d both make jury. But it’s only a guarantee that one of them make jury.

      • No lavender, that was in reference to the both of them being in the game til the end. I know they will be in jury.

      • Yep I was just going to say that. After I commented I figured you meant F2. If they make F2 I’m going to need medication. Lol

      • Better in jury together where we don’t have to watch them, than in the house where we do

      • OMG, that’s all we need a BB baby that was conceived in the house after what 3-4 weeks of knowing each other? Don’t they give them condoms there? Isn’t she on the pill?

      • She left her pills at home because she didn’t think she’d need them. She asked them to get her the pill.

    • Because of Jess’ Hex power, it’s guaranteed both will make the jury at this point.

      • That’s not exactly accurate. With Ramses going this week that leaves 12 HG’s and lately the Jury is 9 people with final 2 for total of 11. So one more person is going to be pre-jury eviction. If someone from Paul’s side of the house gets HOH Thursday and nominates Jess/Cody forcing her power to be used that still leaves 12 people and if someone from Paul’s side wins again and again nominates Jess/Cody then one of them would be final pre-jury evictee.

      • Yeah that’s what I forgot about. If she stops an eviction there will still be 12 after this week. I was thinking the same as LlGrrl but there’s only a guarantee one of them will make jury.

      • I count 13. Megan, Cameron, Jillian, Dominique, that’s 4. We started with 17.

      • If Ramses go out this week. I got confused when you said “if she stops an eviction”, I thought you meant this week.

    • I just wish Jessica didn’t tell Kevin about her temptation. I wanted that to be a shock to everyone when it is used. Now most everyone will know about it. What fun is that?

      • Just nominate her already and force her to use it sooner than later. House will unite for that.

Just throw that HOH comp to Josh if you can or someone like that, so you can still compete for HOH the week after she uses the Hex.

      • Yep! It’s why I wanted her to tell so they can sceme around it. She told the right person!

      • Absolutely – force her hand.
Maybe nominate her and a pawn so she’ll know she has to use it. No need to nominate both her and Cody since you’re just forcing her to use her hex.

Then after she halts her eviction, if the consequence is that 2 fresh nominees have to hit the block, THEN nominate Cody against a pawn to ensure he goes.

      • I think we are going for a suprise… Ramses goes out and they will see him on the TV, with Julie, where he will choose 2 people to be on the block right away and select 4 more for the Veto. After that, someone will go out or Jessica will have to use the Hex, jumping to the HOH comp.

  6. When are they supposed to announce the curse for the Halting Hex? I’m starting to think that the curse is going to be a double eviction. Its the only way to keep it an eviction night despite Jessica stopping the eviction.

    • Wow. That could happen. I definitely don’t want Jessica to use her temptation this week. That would be crazy even if it did piss off the house. I want Jessica to use it on herself when nobody is expecting it.

    • To be revealed Thursday night. Really don’t think that Jess would use the HH this week so there will still be an eviction. They could still do a double anyway

    • Even if Jessica catches wind of the betrayal, she wouldn’t give up safety for herself and Cody just to protect Ramses. It wouldn’t make any sense.

    • The Halting Hex has to be exercised by its owner BEFORE the eviction voting starts. That means, it’s conceivable that Jessica could waste the HH by calling off voting because she mistakenly assumes the vote will go in a direction other than what it actually would have.

    • That would be a cool idea, but I don’t think the timing would work. Production would have to know in advance that she’s using it. The eviction is usually around 6:35BBT, but if they do a double it’s close to the beginning of the hour to save time for the HOH, nominations, Veto, and second eviction.

      • I think it is probably going to be a double regardless. They knew they were going to take the temptation. If someone not Cody gets it, Cody and/or Jessica is going up more than likely, causing her to use it

      • If they remove the hoh competition and give someone else the HOH… the one that was evicted… that would cut the time to keep the Veto (some questions or elimination rounds) and placing Jessica to use the Hex to keep her or cody in the game.

    • I think that it´s going that way but with a special HOH that is the person that goes out. That way they can jump for the Veto competition, ceremony and Jessica will get a push to use the Hex and stop the eviction to start the HOH competition, removing the Hex and the DE.

    • Double evictions are part of the BB norm, though. I doubt a DE could be considered a curse all of a sudden.

  7. I still don’t understand why the house guest would lie to Cody and Jess about the vote. Seems like they forget Cody gets to play in the next HOH. The totally expose that no one is willing to work with them.

On a different note, I am now glad the Jess got the Hex. At least they will get an extra shot to shake something up in the house. Please Cody take a shot! I just need you wake up the Paul Puppets.

    • He aint nothing to be feard! He can only send 1 person home at a time honey. 8 ppl are against him.

    • Whether they tell him now or he finds out when Julie reads the vote, Cody still gets to play in the HOH. This way, if he wins, he only has half a day to try to sort out what happened and make his nominations accordingly. If they tell him now, it gives him more time to plan ahead.

    • Well if he wins after this upcoming blindside he’s going to know that most of the house is against him and his babe so he’ll know that he won’t have the votes to get Paul out. Best he can do is go for someone in Paul’s group, but Paul would still be there to live and rally again.

  8. ugh so annoying! and the consequence will be revealed thursday as well.. what if half the house cant vote and of course it will be rigged and cody, mark and the hooker will vote then josh is sure to go… hmmmmm food for thought?

    • I dunno, America apparently likes both Paul and Jessica, so I don’t think production will really feel like they need to rig things one way or the other. Especially since Jessica still has the hex so she’s not immediately in any danger from this eviction going badly for her.

  9. Raven is playing the best game, IMO
Josh said he owes Maven and Jody want all showmances in JURY.

  10. Do these people really want to keep Josh around for Jury? Any vote he would cast wouldn’t be based on game play because he isn’t that type of person. He’s just there to run his mouth, which he does ALL of the time. I don’t like Ramses either but I’d rather see Josh go before him

    • That´s why they want him to stay. Ramses is a wild card. Nobody knows what is he thinking (sometimes it even looks like Ramses doesn´t think anything). Josh is a garbage can. When they need to take someone out that everyone agrees, he is the choosen one. Week without blood.

  11. It’s Tuesday afternoon with just over two days before Thursday’s live eviction. If only Jessica and Cody would realize what’s about to happen (with Josh likely to get the vote to stay) and somehow convince enough of the sheeple on the other side to vote to evict Josh, they could salvage this week for Jess.

When re-watching the last episode (from Sunday), you can see that Jessica told Cody from the outset that she wanted to put Paul (“the head”) and Josh (“the ass”) on the block. She also suggested backdooring Paul. But based on the summaries here of the feeds, it looks like she did not go with what she intelligently saw was best to do and instead left Ramses on the block after she won the PoV. It’s great that she won the PoV, showing that she is a good competitor, and yet it’s sure looking like the win will be a waste if enough people vote to evict Ramses.

  12. I almost feel bad for Jessica and Cody this week. They could not be more clueless.

  13. Cody says that he will go red if the vote is not unanimous to get Ramses out. Doesn’t he realize that’s what we want? What would be even better would be to see smoke come out of his ears. I’m waitin for it

  14. They really need to stop bringing in the losers and helping them win…just have an allstar game of losers like paul …this game would have been perfect without paul…he’s had his time…. Go Jessica…Cody too
