‘Big Brother 18’: Who Makes The Final Two? – Update: Whispers Reveal Nicole’s Plans

We’re just one day away from the Big Brother 18 finale on Wednesday and decisions appear to have been made inside the house as the winners of the first two rounds know they’ll need to be prepared to make what could be a $450,000 decision on the spot.

Update: Nicole may be preparing a sneak attack on her F2 deal. Read more details here.

Big Brother 18's Final 3 Houseguests

After listening to talk both between the winners of the first two rounds of the final HoH as well as their private talks I’m ready to lock in my prediction for who makes the Final Two on Big Brother.

We’ll soon be watching Paul Abrahamian and Nicole Franzel face off in Round 3 after they both took a win in the previous two rounds. That leaves James Huling on the sidelines waiting to see if whoever wins R3 decides to take him on to the finish line. As of now, I’m going to say no one is planning to do that.

Over the weekend we saw things shift from including James in talks of the F2 to leaving him on the outs once Nicole secured the second round. Paul and Nicole spent days preparing for the mental challenge with Paul seemingly dedicated to the cause of keeping James from the F2. Initially it sounded like Nicole might have been wavering as she was telling James she’d take him to the end, but now those talks have vanished.

After the tipsy talk we saw on Sunday night, which is worth going back and watching on your Live Feeds, I was even more convinced that Nicole had come around to settle on taking Paul if she won R3. Nothing changed on Monday for those two, but James did finally catch up with their mindset.

Yesterday around noon Paul and Nicole sat alone in the backyard talking about getting to the end together and their final steps in the game. Right around 12:43 PM BBT we found James eavesdropping on the pair from the hidden safety of the sliding door as they talked about no regrets even if they lost to each other. Whatever he managed to make out from their discussions seems to have finally opened his eyes.

Last night at 8:02 PM BBT we saw Nicole and Paul head outside to sit and chat in the hammock. Both agreed that James seemed to be in a much better mood and each wondered if the other had said something to cheer him up. Meanwhile, at the very same time inside James remarks, “ahh, whatever. I know you all are voting me out anyways. A–holes. Shoulda damn kept Corey. F–ked up.” Yeah.

Well he’s right. Corey told Nicole to take James, not Paul, for the easy win and I think Corey was correct. If Nicole wins R3 and takes Paul I do think she’ll lose, but if she’s making this decision based on her perceived situation of going before a bitter Jury against James who hasn’t really offended anyone then in a vacuum that’s a logical decision. We of course have more information and know things like Da’Vonne coming around to admitting Nicole will deserve respect if she gets to the end, though she may not get the votes if she goes there against Paul.

Likewise Paul will take Nicole if he gets the R3 win. Nothing has changed there for him in the past few weeks. He wants to be at the end against Nicole, not James, but unlike Nicole it appears that Paul is still making this choice for personal reasons. He told Nicole that he thinks he has a better chance against Nicole than James (I disagree) but also because he doesn’t think James deserves to be near the F2 and its prize money.

As for who I think will win Round 3, these are usually a toss up competition as you’re trying to guess an A/B answer from the Jurors and it could be something silly or a serious answer. Those are not easy questions, but knowing your fellow HGs can be key. As Nicole has admitted in her F2 speech rehearsals, she didn’t make many personal relationships since she stayed in bed this summer to avoid getting backstabbed like she did last year. That’s her explanation, so don’t jump up and down at me.

Last year the pivotal question in R3 was JMac’s joking response that he was happy to not have to see his patients all summer. Knowing his sense of humor made this one easier to answer and it scored Steve the R3 win and eventually the F2 win. If we’re in the same spot again then Paul could have an edge though both Paul and Nicole did very well in the “What The Bleep” HoH comp where they had to accurately recall things the HGs had said.

I’d say R3 could be very close but I’ll give the edge to Paul for the win there. Although, like I detailed above, I don’t think it matters which of them win as they’ll take each other to the end.

We’ll need to keep watching the Feeds today to see if there are any final day plan changes, but it’ll take something big to make this happen for either of them. With that in mind I’m sticking with my prediction that our Big Brother 18 Final 2 will be Paul and Nicole as James leaves in 3rd place.

Update: Nicole has been whispering to herself tonight and on several occasions suggested she may not be planning to take Paul. Flashback to 6:06 PM BBT as Nicole whispering that she can’t beat Paul in a little speech. Few mins later, 6:12 PM BBT, as Paul walks by and Nicole whispers again saying “He knows I’m not taking him. He’s not dumb. I don’t think he’d take me so I don’t know why I’m feeling guilty.” Well there you go. She had me fooled even though it never made much sense for her to take Paul. It’s a smarter move to cut Paul for her chances so we’ll see what happens. She still has to win R3 while Paul knows the other HGs better.

What do you think will happen? Which two HGs will make up our F2 this season? Vote now in the poll below and share your thoughts.

  1. Based the polls over at Jokers, I see Nicole beating Paul by 5:4 vote. This will be interesting, and should be close, either way.

    • If Paul is truly serious about winning, he needs to swallow his disgust and take James to F2.

      • I think he should take James. I don’t know if he would win against Nicole, but I’m certain she won’t take Paul

    • Unless the 9 actual jurors said it the polls are only speculation at best by a bunch of know nothings. One big massive guess!

  2. I can accurately tell you who is going to the F2 and who will win. Just ask me at 10:59 p.m. Wednesday night, lol

  3. If Paul wins, he did it on his own.
If Dingus wins, she had help.
If James wins, well, miracles do happen. lol

    • I cannot bear the thought of James winning anything. He’s right in his ramblings – he should have kept Corey and evicted Nicole. Corey thought it would be an easy win against James. I think Paul has played best game out of the three

      • No matter who wins, I’ll wake up Thursday morning with my to do list, which I am way behind on, start my day normally, for the first time in many weeks, and the outcome of BB will not affect my life in any way. My husband will be very happy that I came back from the brink of BB insanity. lol

      • That is a given. I’m sure it will take a while for the dreams of BB to stop and even seeing BBN posts in my dreams. Too weird, and your avatar and name is one of those I’ve seen!! :(…lol

      • Let’s see…nope, don’t see that on my calendar. Ya’ll let me know if it is worth watching and maybe I can find replays online after the first of the year. But I do hope it is a good change and fans enjoy it.

      • That means a lot to me and thank you. Time for me to get busy with cleaning out my flower beds, helping my parents more, getting Christmas shopping done, holiday baking(my grandson is already begging for a pumpkin pie), and my grandchildren love coming to stay with us a lot more starting late Oct until after the holidays. I decorate early so they can enjoy it. I don’t know how you do it. Maybe when I was your age I could have pulled it off. I really do hope it is a different kind of special season. :)

      • I’m not coming. You guys have a good year. Maybe I’ll check on site just to say hello. Will miss ya.

      • As of now, I’ve told my husband that this would most likely be my final year, also. Never know what will happen between now and then so I am not going to say anything is certain. I might be just checking in to say hello, also, because I would miss ya’ll, too.:)

  4. I think paul will beat nicole 5-4 with the swing vote being day. I know day said she respects nicoles gameplay but i think she will respect paul even more for breaking up nicorey and playing without nearly as much help as nicole. Maybe even 6-3 paul wins if z does her own thing and doesnt vote with paulie.

    • I believe her direct quote was, “I was trampled on and backstabbed…so I chose to spend most of the Summer cuddling with Codeeeee and backstabbing all the other grrrrrls.” Ok I added the last part, but the first part is what she’s really said. She just can’t trust people wahwah….

  5. James would be a safer bet against Paul, and Paul has played a very savvy game so far. This is why I still think there’s a chance he could blindside Nicole. It seems like a long shot, but Paul has shown a lot of game awareness (on his own) and he’s got to be counting the votes. If he wins HOH, takes Nicole, then still wins, more power to him and Pablo!

    • The jury is so screwy this year, I can’t say if it’s a Paul vs Nicole scenario. Paul should take James

  6. Based on Big Brother’s official Facebook page, and several AFP Poll sites, Victor is racking up the votes….not to mention Mickey Mousearoni’s (reliable) prediction.

    • Please be right! Someone on another thread says it’s all over, according to info he rec’d, and James won.

    • Polls don’t mean a thing its votes cast that matter and the voting is done. James did win by a very narrow margin 22k more than Vic a very tight race. I stand by my source

      • I would if I could. But in the big scheme of thing it doesn’t really matter. They both could use the money and someone had to lose. Just goes to show you every vote counts. Hope people remembers in November when it really does count. Apathy’s not a good thing. I’ll get off my soapbox now.

      • Whatever let’s you sleep at night you have my blessing. Sweet dreams only about 28 hours to go.

      • Polls are just snap shots of the real vote. They are pretty closed, but your IT friend could be right.

      • It’s only a snap shot of the vote if you actually make the effort to go to another site and actually vote at the specified time and other restrictions 20 votes in 24 house etc

      • Majority of the Polls in the past seasons reflected the actual winner, although there’s one or two that didn’t. I can remember, Frank won AFP and the other HG (can’t remember the name) was ahead of him on the Polls.

      • And the bbn popularity poll they released this a.m. had it 1 Nicole 2 James 3 Victor 4 Paul and the comment threads clearly don’t reflect that at all, but believe what you will

    • Also every social media post I see regarding AFP has a ton of comments wanting Victor to win and saying they voted for him. Almost missed my 20 yesterday. Woke up at 11 and forgot the deadline was at 9:59…..then I realized it was pacific time and I’m on the east coast, so I was still able to throw Vic my final 20 votes.

    • Looks like we don’t have to watch BB next season….just look all the wall and we know who the winner will be…courtesy of production I would presume….and Mickey.

  7. I’m thinking Paul and Nicole in final 2. idk who would win with that. I would be fine with either, but I’m making shirts tonight so I have decided to go with Paul. I need some help from you guys though. The front of my shirt will be for Paul to win the $$$. I need a quote from Paul… any suggestions???? Also, my vote for AFP will be on the back of the shirt… and that would be Victor. I need a quote fro him as well. I’m thinking something with the sitting ducks to go on it too.

  8. I’d like Paul to pull out the win and secure his spot in the F2… And I’d like to see him come in first. As for who sits beside him? I don’t feel either of them REALLY deserve to sit beside Paul in the F2… I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I wish Vic was in that other F2 seat but since that won’t be happening I could really just flip a coin between James and Nicole. I absolutely loved both of them on their original seasons but really didn’t care much for either of them this year. I do think Nicole has played a better game than James so at the end of the day, I guess at this point my ideal F2 would be Nicole and Paul.

  9. Twice now Paul has mentioned watching Big Brother for years. I had a feeling he knew the game better than he let on.

    • I know Lynne. I have been saying that all season. In the first week he asked “Whats the POV?”

And yet he knew who Frank was…unh-uh! That boat don’t float. I think he told people he’d never watched the game as a strategy…And maybe it worked. He HAS been nominated 6X’s and never gone home!! Whew!!

  10. I find it hilarious how Nicole keeps shitting on James saying she can’t stand his game. They played almost the exact same game, got in a showmance, played in bed all summer etc. So if she hates his game she must hate her own too it makes no sense

    • At least Nicole won some comps and actually played the game, even if it was only the last 3-4 weeks. James did NOTHING all season.

      • James won one HoH, but threw at least one to Nicole and one earlier in the season when his team wanted him to lose.

      • Exactly. He won only one HOH, and in that single HOH that James won, he asked everyone else… “What should I do?” And then went back on his word to Bridgett… THAT was his ONLY win and he didn’t use it to do what he really wanted.

Pretty sad if you ask me.

  11. Could they drag this thing out any more. Good lord, just let it end! This last week must be insanely boring for the house guests and it certainly is for us. Well, me anyway. When was the last episode? Three years ago? I mean, really. Would it not have made sense to just wrap it up last Sunday?

  12. I knew Nicole wasn’t going to take Paul…and I don’t think that Paul would take her…it just upsets me that James has a shot at winning either 50K or 500K…if they give him 500K..which I don’t think would happen..you will be hearing me yell “NOOOOO” here in Indiana! I want Paul to win..he has to win this final HOH..C’mon Paul..I hope you were paying close attention to the HG’s this season.

  13. Personally, I. Don’t. Give. A SH*T about “teaching James a lesson” on why it doesn’t pay to be lazy and dumb….Paul needs to do to Nicole what she’s been doing to everyone else all season, and stab that snake in the back by taking James. Nicole going back on her word AGAIN after trying to seem sincere and loyal to Paul…Sooooo sick of her. It’s one thing if she’s trying to play a smart game, and therefore doesn’t strongly commit to either of the final 3….but it’s cowardly and pathetic that she has hidden all season behind a veil of pretending to be innocent and loyal to people’s faces then stabbing them in the back.

I really hope Paul drops the snake, sucks it up and takes James if he wins F2. I guess if he gets out, I hope Victor and Paul help give James the win. But of course that’s not going to happen. At least Nicole will know what it’s like to be manipulated, after watching what Corey said to the other guys about their “relationship” and what will happen outside of the house.
