Big Brother 18 Live Feeds Week 3: Wednesday Highlights

The Big Brother 18 house spent the day flipping and flopping on who to send home this week and which houseguest to target next week. Tiffany remained the target for most of the day, but after some more of Frank’s plans got around, the vote shifted to Bronte. But will that stick?

Da'Vonne is not impressed

9:51 PM BBT – Paulie joins Nicole and Michelle and ask him if he still thinks it’s a good idea to send Tiffany home. Michelle says she might be good at this competition and can get Frank out for them. She also says if they send Bronte out, Frank could be all confused by the move and mess up HOH. Michelle says Bridgette and Frank need to go up together. Michelle says Frank will have no one without Frank.

The vote is about to flip. Read on to see who settles in on this plan.

  1. When all is said and done, I think one of the defining battles of the season will be Frank vs. Da’Vonne. It’s exciting to see this slowly happen. There hasn’t been much out-and-out attacking yet, just slow, deliberate maneuvering until either of them are out in the open for a swift takeout. The abilities of both Frank and Da’Vonne to erode the other’s support has been fascinating. I expected it of Frank, but Da’Vonne’s ability to come out ahead so far is surprising.

Nicole and Corey have put themselves in a good position to swing either way as they see fit when it’s finally time to throw down. Da’Vonne is less trusting of the pair, but even so she still works with them; and Frank thinks all is hunky-dory with them.

This situation is beginning to remind me of BB13, when the returning vets swore to work together until they had the numbers, and then Daniele went and blew it all up. This time around, Da’Vonne is Daniele. We’ll see if Da’Vonne gets burned first or if she’ll squeak through.

Nicole is playing a (perhaps accidentally) smart game here. I think the showmance with Corey is helping more than hurting when comparing pros and cons. The problem with her showmance with Hayden in BB16 was twofold. One, she didn’t commit to it fully, and two, Hayden was not a dominating physical presence in the house. With Corey by her side, not only does she have a strong teammate (at least until the twist is over) for HoH wins, but she has a much larger target directly in front of her at all times. Nicole isn’t quite the competition winner Rachel Reilly was, but her social game is far superior, even with its flaws as they are. If this is a similar season to BB13, it’s not out of the realm of possibility to see Nicole at the end.

Since I started watching during BB12, the seasons have seemed to alternate between great and awful (with the exception of back-to-back great BB13 and BB14). Last year was a chore to watch. This year is keeping with the trend of being great. Let’s hope it stays that way.

    • I agree! I’m really liking this season so far, I think it’s going to be a good one- fingers crossed!

    • Please!!! Nicole is an under performer just like she was in BB16. And Corey is worthless, not sure how he can even be considered a physical threat or strong competitor when he hasn’t won a darn thing. But, people see what they want to see based on who they like and who they don’t like, including me and I for sure don’t like Nicole or Corey.

    • I feel like NIcole has started out really strong but her BB16 indecisiveness is starting to show here. I hope she can start to get it back under control because now she’s becoming afraid of rocking the boat. She wasn’t like this in week one

  2. This is Da’Vonne’s make-or-break moment, whether she can really leave her old self behind and integrate with the still-solidifying majority or unravel and be like what she was on BB17. Seriously hope it’s the former!

    • Maybe if they wait til closer to vote time to tell her? That way she has no time to overthink or get paranoid. Just ride the wave of excitement. :)

  3. These people are the worst. They change their minds every 10 minutes, it’s not even enjoyable to watch anymore because they’re all so stupid.

  4. Wow. If Tiffany stays it will be miraculous. I’ve never seen such a flip flop week in my life. Things could still backfire on her, but I do feel it’s finally been settled.

  5. Da’Vonne’s paranoia is ruining the games of all the vets. I really wanted to root for Da but her emotional reactions and tendency to play a personal game makes me want her to go. She appears anti-social in the house and is letting silly little things get to her.

I do believe Frank would have been very loyal to the 4 vets. Yes he is playing the game hard but there is nothing wrong with that. He is playing the game the way its supposed to be played. Wasn’t it Da’Vonne who suggested they all get close to one of the newbies? Frank is doing that with Bridgette and it worked out well for the 4 vets this week.

And once again, Vanessa, er, I mean Tiffany, slips away.

The big winners in all of this are Paulie and Paul who I think will take over the house and frankly, there is no one left after Frank to challenge them.

    • “I do believe Frank would have been very loyal to the 4 vets.” How is he loyal??? He’s asking everyone to backdoor Day!! He also wants James gone!!

      • Thank you!!! Most of these folks have never will never like Day or Tiffany for that matter. Most would like everyone to believe Day and Tiffany are the only ones acting paranoid in the house when others have been just as paranoid. Let’s see how the other houseguests feel when they’re OTB or being targeted to be BD or evicted. Double standards are driving me nuts!!

    • Frank is the least loyal of the vets. He’s playing his own game and I don’t think Da recognizing that means she’s letting silly things get to her.

      • I will go even further to say that Day isn’t the only one that recognizes what Frank is up too, yet she’s the one taking most of the heat. Nicole is going around spreading lies and half truths about Day just like Day did to Tiffany, but Nicole is the saint in the house. I’ve said it and will continue to say, Nicole is fake and a snake.

      • Her insistence on getting Da out at this point is going to come back and bite her too. Well I’m hoping it does. There are still too many people in the house for her to be trying to get rid of an alliance member. Frank is different because they all want Frank gone but she is going out of her way to put a target on Da.

    • Frank isn’t loyal to the newbies. Maybe he acts like he is, but in reality he’s pretty much going against what they want. Plus he and Day hate each other so they’d probably want each other out.

    • Yes Da is the pisser . She knew Frank was so much better than her that she spends to much time trying to get him out . Hope that gets her out the door

    • I’m not sure why Frank is being vocal about saying he wants this one or that one out, but he has been in charge and he has gotten out the same people that the rest of the vets want out so far. Even when he wanted to get Tiff out this week he wasn’t the only one of the vets who wanted her gone – they all did up until Day and Michelle started to try to save Tiff and last night when they flipped. So in reality Frank has been loyal to them. There does come a point where they have to start getting each other out, but it’s too early for that – yet if they get Frank out tonight he wasn’t the one who turned on the vets first.

  6. Frank isn’t going anywhere!! Mark my word!! Production will make sure of it…..like giving a comp he’s good at!!! It would be his to throw away.

    • The comp has something to do with videos they were shown, but Tiff said she has a photographic memory.

      • As I have just seen on the feeds, Nicole and Frank said they won this comp their season…..so I was right.

  7. The ability of the Rousso family to avoid eviction even when it seems dead set is miraculous. They are to Big brother what Hantz is to survivor!

    • I agree – I didn’t know how it was going to happen, but was pretty sure Tiff wouldn’t be the one going tonight.

  8. Da hasn’t won a comp. they seem to think Tiff can win the next HOH. I could see Da teaming up with Da as a duo given the showmances.

    • I think Day has already teamed up with Tiff since she and Michelle were the ones to start the wheels in motion to have her stay.

  9. So Bronte and Natalie are recruits…So how in the Sam Hill is Bronte suddenly contemplating that they might send an evictee back in????? She gets too many DRs. I don’t want her in jury.

    • I don’t think she’s a recruit. She had said she applied to the show twice.

  10. I had a feeling this would happen… somehow Tiff would stay. I really wanted her out, but honestly i wouldn’t mind seeing Bronte go tonight. I was really rooting for the Spice Girls (haha- someone called them that instead of Spy Girls), but after the embarrassment of Bridgette’s behavior I’m over it. I don’t mind Natalie though. I actually think she has potential in this game.

    • I like Natalie too, if she would stop playing just to make the jury and actually tried playing to win, she could do well imo

      • Both Natalie and Bronte were just using that as strategy. They said they both were playing to win. Of course if the votes goes as it is suppose to Bronte will be going tonight and won’t get that chance unless she wins the buy back.

  11. Yesterday, I didn’t see them all coming together to make it happen. I think Tiffy would still be the one being evicted if Paulie hadn’t have changed his mind. He definitely didn’t do it because it was what the others wanted; he changed his mind because he got wind that he was a big target. I wish the others would have done it without him.

    • I agree Day and Michelle were the first to bring the idea to the others and both Paulie and Z said no way. Nicole was next to bring it to Corey who agreed and then Z as well. When Paulie heard Bronte was going after him you are right Paulie agreed. When Paulie and Corey were talking with Tiff you would have thought it was all their idea. Now that they decided to tell Day and James about the flip because of being afraid if Day or James wins HOH they could use it against them and put them up and they still want the vote to be 5-4. I already heard Day and I believe James previously say Paulie was starting to act every bit as bossy as Frank. When Paulie was talking to Day last night she didn’t say much to him, but looked like she was in deep thought. I couldn’t help, but wonder what she was thinking. I had to laugh when Nicole told Tiff you know I was never intending on voting you out. I wonder if Tiff believed her?

      • Nicole has been disturbingly wishy washy. Whenever it is convenient and serves a purpose, Tiffy will hear variations of the way this all went down. Hard to say who she will believe.

      • Yes I agree about Nicole. Ever since she started her relationship with Corey her game play has gone downhill imo. Your right I don’t know who or what Tiff will believe, but I think she has been holding back. If she wins HOH tonight I believe we will see the real Tiff. At least that’s what I think. :)

  12. I love it. The HOH’s best friend is on the block. Frank put her up and Bridgette is all good with it until little Bronte gets evicted. Tonight’s episode is a must-see.

  13. Finally they’re using their heads.
By keeping Tiff, she can go after Frank.
Plus voting out Bronte can sway Paul to their side considering he’s alone.

Question: How is James gonna explain it to his showmance partner Natalie?
