Big Brother 18: Counting The Votes In Week 2 [POLL]

Ten votes are up for grabs this week on Big Brother 18 and we’ve again got three nominees preparing to face eviction night but if there’s any uncertainity over how it will go we can chalk that up to overwhelming optimism.

Victor Arroyo plays dead on Big Brother 18

Monday’s Veto Ceremony gave us the final noms after things changed around and the pieces moved in to place just as the house had planned since Thursday night. Now it’s time to seal the deal, but could recent lies change what to expect?

Ten votes and everyone but Victor seems to know it’s a done deal for Victor to go home. Last night (8:27PM BBT C3/4) he talked with Natalie and Bronte to let them know he had been working the house and doing a favor for both him and Bronte as he pushed for votes against Tiffany. They know the truth, but aren’t sharing it with Victor. Actually, no one is.

Flashback to 1:20 PM BBT 7/4 to find Victor asking Frank for his vote which Frank promises to him as long as it’s not a 9-1 scenario that will leave Franking hanging out to dry. Nicole comes in and makes Victor the same promise. Victor thinks he’s got two more votes in his pocket.

Jump a few minutes forward to Da’Vonne and Victor chatting in the bathroom. She says she wants Tiffany gone and suggests she’d give him her vote too. There’s Victor’s third imaginary vote.

Since we could get a tie this week, in theory, Victor does the smart thing and goes to Paulie to promise he isn’t mad and wouldn’t seek vengeance should he stay. Flashback to 1:35PM BBT 7/4. It’s a good pitch from Victor and while Paulie gives him the same smiles and nods we saw earlier we know the truth. Paulie will not break a tie in Victor’s favor.

Victor now believes he has what could keep him safe in the game. If he had Paul, Natalie, Frank, Nicole, and Da’Vonne voting against Tiffany then even with five other votes against him Paulie could break it in his favor. That won’t be happening though.

It seems entirely possible that we’ll get a 10-0 vote against Victor for his eviction on Thursday night. Tiffany, Bronte, and Victor will be on the Block while Paulie watches from the sidelines as HoH. The ten voting Houseguests are all aware of the plan to get out Victor and they’re going along with it. Yes, even Paul who is just happy to not have the target on his back this week.

The real question at this point is whether or not Frank will spill the beans again like he did by telegraphing his punches well in advance and easing the vote reveal. I imagine he will and given there’s a returning evictee twist it’s not a bad strategy, but I’d prefer to see a sincerely shocked face on Thursday night. Probably won’t happy though.

As for chances of this plan being disrupted, Tiffany has been making aggressive moves when she’s in a vulnerable state and Da’Vonne has been piling on with lies about Tiffany’s actions. I wouldn’t mind seeing some blow up drama that gives HGs a little wavering in their march to Thursday night, but so far it hasn’t taken root. We’ll keep watching for it though.

What do you think will happen? Could Victor pull off an upset or is he all but evicted already at this point? Cast your vote in our poll and share your thoughts below!
