Loyalty to 4-man group, defending their X-leader was expected. When 4 x'rs stopped competing with each and entered the bigger competition of all, all bets were off for the leaders banded together. Ian was smart and changed his loyalties to the realities. Stupid Danielle remained loyal to her old leader Dan, to the end, even though he screwed her over time and again, and it cost her dearly, and those she cared for the most. Greed is a motivator, not always bad. Dan was the Bernie Madoff of the house, trusted but self-serving. The definition of evil is "getting ahead at the expense of putting down another". If the shoe fits....!

Final facing a jury of peers is the biggest competition of the game, and it was created to win by final verdict of character, not muscle or memory. Big brother, in the final end is a moral and ethical game, because in the end, conscience ruled the day. Juries judge from conscience of character, not from some "playing the game"! Deception is expected, but not ill-will manipulation, not two-faced hard promises, making pledges on bibles, wives, grandfather necklaces, etc. Surviving, floating by lying, back stabbing, and not winning competitions may win the $50K but not the $500 K. The 6-1 vote against that should have been 7-0 ruled the day. To gain the world of $50k to lose the soul in front of millions of viewer, what a price to pay, for such little gain. Dan has taught future players a big lesson in there is a ethical line not to cross! Dan is a scumbag with no consciencet! Talk cooks no rice!

I'm pretty sure that she said something about wanting Dani or Ian to win right around the time she was backstabbed by Dan but you're right, she did say she hoped Danielle would be the one to join the jury so I guess she changed her mind...or I was hallucinating when I wrote that. Definitely wouldn't be the first time.

Actually we don't know that. Ian or Dan might have received more votes than Frank but since there is a rule that the F2 can not win...Frank might have been in 3rd place and won by default. I know my vote for Ian did not count.

I did notice she seemed happy to award Ian the win, when she pulled out his third and fourth vote/key, but I think that was probably because she got to see the lifelong fan get the win, the kid, the innocent nice little kid lol. Julie has made comments previously about the type of game she would play if she was in the game, and she's made it clear she would make the big moves, would be 'ruthless' and 'go for it'. That, is why I think if she was on the jury, she would've voted for Dan.

He was the mole, but let's remember the mole who got other's game in trouble, especially Dan's. Dan covered for Ian and took major heat from Frank and Mike, and it was posing a real threat to Dan and his game, but he still protected Ian. I don't really remember Ian ever acknowledging or thanking Dan for this, maybe he didn't realize what Dan was doing for him. Taking Dan to the final two was more about honouring a commitment made later in the game, and because Ian mumbled repeatedly to himself "If you want to be the best you gotta beat the best". I don't blame Dan for shaking his head during finale night at Ian's comments.

Ian owed Dan for keeping him safe when Dan really wanted to evict Shane. That was the only reason Ian threw that comp to Dan was a debt owed. Jury is a very important part of the game to be an all around excellent player. Dan might have planned a great game, but didn't think far enough ahead to know that these players that you had no problem booting out were going to get their say. You have to figure for that as well. That was Dan's mistake, and not all jurors are going to forgive. Not all votes were from being angry. Dan had a plan for everything and should have thought about what the jury might do. Maybe if he had been a little less ruthless they would have voted for him.
