@Robert: I apologize if you’re offended by the details above, but I certainly don’t believe advising others of this deal is a moral issue.

Many of the readers here purchase the live feeds each season and I’d wager many of them overlook the opportunity to receive their free mp3 downloads. In an economy where everyone wants to stretch their dollars this actually is a really good deal for Big Brother fans that are buying the feeds and already buying mp3s elsewhere.

I honestly bought the feeds last night in advance of the show’s premiere because of this deal. I had been looking to pick up a new album from Amazon (I’m not an iTunes guy), but instead of paying for it there I paid for my entire season of Big Brother live feeds and can now get the album that I was already going to buy. That dropped $10 off the cost of the feeds because it was $10 I was already going to spend. Instead of going to Amazon for the next 2 months I can get my mp3s on SuperPass and I’ve gotten my feeds for free.

You can look at it in 2 ways: pay for the feeds, get the mp3s free; or pay for the mp3s, get the feeds free. I’m in the latter case. If you don’t buy music then maybe this isn’t a good deal for you other than the $30 for the season of live feeds versus $45 (month-by-month cost), but that’s what the post above already detailed.
