Last week CBS sent us some exciting news. To celebrate fans’ love for Big Brother they were going to put together a promotional video starring fans as a commercial for the upcoming Big Brother 10 this summer. Not only would fans get the chance to be on TV but they’d get to meet Evel Dick from BB8!
Apparently it wasn’t as awesome sounding to everyone else. Big Brother Craze got the inside details from one, and possibly the only, fan who showed up:
Ok, well i went. this is what happened: I arrive around 1:30pm. there’s no one there but staff and a lighting and camera crew. No Evel Dick, no crowd. I’m literally the only fan there – lol…
It took about 15 minutes and then I left. …no one was waiting to go next.
Whaaa?! No one else showed up? It was kinda short notice, but I would have guessed there’d be tons of people there. Could the interest in Big Brother 10 have really dropped off that much? Read the rest of the details at Big Brother Craze.
I know the ratings were lower for BB9, but I chalked that up to an irregular mid-season installment of my favorite reality show. Here’s to hoping the situation was a fluke and Big Brother will be right back on top all summer long.
