Diary Room: Adam Poch’s Player Rankings: Big Brother OTT – Week 1

These Houseguests earned themselves negative points this week on Big Brother Over The Top for their rankings.

Kryssie Ridolfi – 1 strip of Tofu – I am still not quite sure why some people are not liking her. I know she is a bit loud and “over the top” – but seems harmless game wise. She is guilty by association by spending a lot of time with Jason. Of the 3 people on the block, Kryssie has the smallest target – but that may also be the reason she goes. The house will not be as divided as it would be if Danielle or Cornbread leave.

Morgan Willett – 2 strips of Tofu – keeping her secret has been tougher for Morgan it seems than it has been for Alex – and while they are aligned together – it seems like she may be falling for Monte more than how Whitney is. Whitney is teaming up with him for game reasons. I think Morgan may try to take it further. This could be disastrous to her game – especially if he rejects her.

Shelby Stockton – 3 strips of Tofu – as we have seen so far, Shelby has a hard time dealing with stress, and this girl wants to be a lawyer? The girls are keeping her around for now as a vote – and she knows that people are starting to get annoyed by her – but she is not doing anything to change their minds. I will say her live Diary Session was my favorite. She is so wacky and scatterbrained. Unfortunately for her, it’s not as cute as Justin’s zaniness – and look for her to be a constant / easy target the next few weeks.

Danielle Lickey – 4 strips of Tofu – I am really disappointed in Danielle as I expected her to not be as polarizing so early in the game. I thought her having a child would make her more grounded – but going right after Shane in a showmance has ruffled all the other girls’ feathers. A lot has to do with how “hot” they both are. The girls are for sure jealous, but the one common thing a lot of people are saying about her is she talks, but does not listen.

With this many egos in the house, you need to stroke them. I think she will be the one going out tonight if nothing more than petty jealousy. She could have so easily (with Shane’s help), replace Shelby in the girls alliance. But the damage is done and it’s too late now.

That bring us to the first Big Brother Over The Top TOFURKEY OF THE WEEK – and this is a no brainer – that award goes to Cornbread. I really thought he was gonna be a goofball and ride the middle most of the game, but he came in guns blazing. I do feel for him that he was the first HG that America nominated, and that seemed to really shake him up – but how he has acted before and since has been pretty bad. he has said some pretty disparaging remarks. I mean, cmon man, you were nominated by America – take a second before you speak & act – and remember we are all watching very VERY closely.

I am sure back home he is the life of the party – but in the BB House – yeah, not so much!! America will probably throw their vote against him tonight – it would be pretty cool if that is the deciding vote. If Cornbread does stay – he needs to do a lot of damage control or we will throw him right back up there. He needs to go to Jason and get in good with him as the live feeders are “his people.”

Well, this has been a great week to start the season – and I honestly have already forgotten all about BB18 – and totally engrossed in this season. My sleep schedule is as screwed up as Kryssie’s. My only complaint about this season is it is catered to the West Coast people. I cant stay up every night til 2 am for another 3 months!!!!

What do you think of my rankings? Let me know in the comments section below. Also my question of the week is – who do you want to win the next HoH & who do you think they will target?

From outside the Big Brother house, I am Adam Poch, have a great day!

  1. Question for anyone else who has never been live-feeder before but is giving OTT a shot: What do you think? I know most here have been watching the live feeds for a while now. But I’m a newbie, and I just can’t get into this version as much. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot I do like about it. Being able to watch competitions live is great. But I don’t care much to watch these strangers just sitting around hanging out. I miss the 3 times a week episodes that give me summaries of the strategies and division of the house. I tried watching the veto competition, and was so bored by it. A lot of down time and standing around. Without the commentary and DR’s in between, I didn’t really know what the people were thinking or even trying to do. Same with the “safety ceremonies”. I turned it on Sunday night, and just had to watch a half hour of people hanging out, and every 5 minutes someone’s necklace lit up. I’m hopeful for the episode tonight, but so far, this just isn’t for me. Does anyone else in this situation have an opinion?

    • As a long time live feeder – I am used to the downtime. They do the daily recap episodes – so that will fill in the blanks for you. Have you watched those yet? Also – last night they did the Live DR sessions – that gives us more of the thought behind their actions. But yes – there is a lot of, dare I say “boring” feeds. But at least you hear the whole conversations, not the edited ones on CBS. Stick with it!!!

      • Thanks for the input Adam. I caught the very first recap and I really enjoyed that. I think I just have to get used to the schedule and figure out when to watch. I’m going to stick with it for now and give it a fair shot. I didn’t catch the Live DR sessions either, I’ll try to catch up with those as well. Another downside for me is that there’s no rewind feature on my Roku, so I have to watch it on my computer. The live timing doesn’t work out well with my schedule.

      • The DRs started at 7:32 PST last night…they are very enlightening. You should definitely check them out. :)

      • Exactly Adam. Oh and btw…thank you for your commentary! Spot on. Although, I would have given Danielle a little more credit for flipping a lot of the votes towards CB. She got Shane on board and by the end of the night (at least when I stopped watching around 11pm) the votes were for CB to leave tonight. That charge was basically started by her and Neeley…
Doesn’t she deserve at least a bit of bacon for that?? ;)

      • I agree. I still have high hopes for Danielle. The plastics don’t like her but the other side of the house does and she’s just as much of a smart superfan as Alex or Scott, but sneakier about it.

    • It can be confusing, but if you flip around you get some real interesting game talk every day. It’s live and unedited, so there is no production spin on the conversations. That has always been my favorite part about live feeds. You get the truth and nothing but!

    • I’m with you. I much rather watch the comps with the DR commentaries, it makes it more fun and I didn’t even see what all of the HGs were doing the whole time since the cameras always show the same room twice. The only fun thing about this online version is that we get to see more of the comps and DR sessions than the edited version. I don’t care to watch these people talking Sh.. all day.

    • I agree. I also watch the feeds from the summer shows and watching this is sometimes boring. I never thought I would say it but I miss the edited versions 3 times a week. That’s why we don’t get bored. Perfect example is the POV. It would of been edited down to 10 minutes. I still like things that they are doing different though. I’m waiting to see how this goes tonight with live eviction and HOH comp.

  2. I agree with Adam this week.
Danielle talks too much and has the hottest guy in the house after her so those two things could get her out this week.
I thought cornbread was going to be a bit like Donny, but he is not that bad.
Kryssie is not liked by many either.
Only girls got tofu, and all are after the boys. Shelby unfortunately is out of luck.

    • I did not even realize that only girls got Tofu – except Cornbread – who got the worst ranking over all.

  3. I would confiscate a strip from Alex for her crushing paranoia. If she maintains the paranoia she is suffering from now, I see her game going up in flames at some point..

Other than that, I think you’re right on, as always.
